RE: Moonshot - Boris12 Jan 2024 14:20
In the town of Misinfo, under skies so grand,
Lived the know-it-all with sources at hand.
With a wink and a nod, he'd claim, "I've read,
That the moon is made of green cheese," he said.
He'd cite papers and experts, a long list he'd name,
But when you'd check his sources, they were never the same.
"They're top-secret," he'd whisper, "only I can view,
Trust me, my friend, my words are true."
He predicted rain in deserts, sun in the rain,
Snow in the tropics, and then would feign,
A shocked expression when proved wrong,
"I never said that," was his constant song.
The forecasted apocalypse, the stock market crash,
The alien invasion, all gone in a flash.
When none came to pass, as you might assume,
He'd shrug and say, "My source was from another room."
His tales were many, his facts were few,
His denials were strong, his evidence askew.
But let's raise a glass to our amusing friend,
For in the end, his stories entertain us no end.
So, have you met someone like that, who spins tales so bold?
Just remember to take what they say not as gold,
For their "information" might just be a lark,
And their "sources" as real as a unicorn in the park!
