So as I say - for a higher bid price the only chance might be a new higher bidder - and the deadline is 1159 am on 18 June

Yes according to Dark investor relations , a week ago , most large investors were planning a Yes vote …

So even with Lynch verdict , it might not be enough to change a Yes vote

Therefore the only thing now that could prevent Thoma Bravo buying Dark at 610 p or do , is another last minute Bidder , and so far no sign of another bidder yet

So this as HKK says could be done and dusted !

Yes the Bod has protected their downside of the lynch case - they gave up on him

Next week he will arrive back to Uk with great fan fare no doubt

The Bod messed up - going out too early and they are expected mL to be locked up

Now huge embarrassment and guilt plus not caring

The BOD and Poppy were using the Mike Lynch court case as a reason to sell out , now that he is fully acquitted and he will be in Uk 🇬🇧 soon …. Including in Cambridge , the whole BOD might be feeling guilty for selling Dark cheap and embarrassed ( even though they will get richer … for the rest will f their lives they will feel guilty now for screwing

2. Investors by Not getting full fair price

3. etc

But there is little the BOD can do now that the trigger is pulled

Only the other investors or another bidder ( the best option ) can save the day

Thinking about this a bit more - the big change now is the Risk of buying Darktrace now much less now that Mike Lynch has been fully acquitted .

Agree Poppy and the BOD will be well taken care of . But the other big investors who have not committed their vote might possibly be having second thoughts on voting Yes … ( they are leaving 20 /39 per cent upside on the table ）

Also a bidder now can now come forward much more easily … the next 7 days and we most likely will know if another bidder will come or not !
