My Broker is Hsbc … they stopped the selling of Poly at the moment ( you can check ) very surprised as most Uk brokers allow selling …

So this reduces the number of sellers , and should push the price of Poly up up …

Does anyone else use Hsbc as a broker … they allowed people to keep buying for a long time into the war .. now stop both buying and selling .. they should allow selling !

Poly knows most of her wealth creation and senior management wealth creation comes from their shares not salary …
At 415 p she would find it hard to retain staff , and if she rejected a good offer , staff could leave …

The buyout offers a chance for management and employees to get say 800 p now , and then to be given fresh shares in the Private company where they could make another 3 X , 5 X within 3 to 5 years easily
ML would be bought out completely, Dark could leverage TB platform , know how , connections and accelerate 5 X easily , plus the currency upside and higher valuations in Usa could make Dark into a 50 billion dollar market cap company. , and Poppy easily a billionaire ….plus nice holidays in Palm Beach and visits to Florida Disney land where the new office of TB is located in Miami ( plus San Fran and Chicago )

US Dollar strength as I say 120 versus 141 is already a 17 per cent discount for the buyer , and gives them extra up side later :) … remember Pune expected to strengthen in next 5 years and in 2014 pound was 170 …so 50 higher than today so 40 per cent upside just in Currency …

My guess after listening to all your views would be for an opening offer of 700 p … and see what happens after that !

Everyone might have different strategy but a combination of the following
Buyout offer likely as great timing … Dark undervalued , market low , USD stronng , ML issues …. The company can benefit and grow faster with TB

So if you are overweight - maybe sell some shares gradually on the Rise
If underweight - maybe even add a few shares ..
Do not buy that new Car yet … just look …. Maybe just go on holiday to Greece for Niw ?

USA tourists are in London in huge numbers again spending their Cash … remember 141 USD to pound and even 170 USD to pound in 2014 ….

So an offer of 800 p ( costs TB 8 per cent less at 120 USD to gdp , than last year 141 ) … so
An offer for example of 800 cost them 730
An offer of 750 costs them only 700
Because USD is relatively strong … Usa tourists spending like mad ! :)

Seems 700 p to 800 p
Most might accept 700 p , (some prefer 750 p to 800 p) and some Ok with 650 p even
