I imagine the traders are waiting for the stock to break through the resistance level (385-390p?) then we can play the game of spotting the next resistance level which is just as much fun for LTH as it is for traders.

Which would be good news, not least because the fixation on bottoms is unhealthy and has recently got one TV presenter into a lot of trouble.

I should really be filling up on these dips. Can't yet convince myself to throw any more money this way.

We're not far of it being a double-bottom - If I understand the term.

Whether you follow the trader metrics or the business, this is just waiting (albeit for a second time) for the opportunity to move up sharply.

It's certainly taking its time to recover and I'm starting to accept that we could be here for a longer stay that I had anticipate. When it reaches £4 again, I'll simply recoup my last investment and leave the profit in shares to accumulate.

If all those trades are correctly marked, there was a lot of selling activity this afternoon which does not bode well for tomorrow's update.

There's some hefty buying activity going on at the close. It will be worth reading the results to get a bit of a headstart before trading begins tomorrow but I am guessing there will be some strong results tomorrow and we'll see a good profit-taking opportunity.

Most of all, a time to be steady. Hold can be a good strategy too.

The challenge is presumably to decide which updates are "right" and which are "wrong". A dangerous game when these analysts know a lot more about the business and its financials than me.

With a stock like BA., I can at least adopt a fall back position as it holds a place in my portfolio as a long-term investment and I can largely ignore market fluctuations as mere noise. But I think the stock also is quite a nice little trading stock because if has quite large fluctuations from peak to trough and this dip looked ideal as an entry point for a potential short term gain - 1220p could be a fairly solid resistance level.

But let's not forget the impact of dividend reinvestment. I expect this will have contributed to the extra demand today and will probably do so for another day or two.

I've extracted the main points that I can take from the proposed incentive plan

- Operates over a 5 yr period

- Senior management to be paid up to 10% of MV

- Targets of E300m for EBITDA and E100m of cash generation.

Let's just suppose current B2B EBITDA is running at E200m (the lower end of targets and 10% above 2023 results). Modest inflation would take that to E220m by 2029. To get to E300m p.a needs just 6.3% annualised growth for which the senior management "fee" is 2% MV p.a.

I can't see how this is an alignment of interests. It looks more like a special management dividend of 2% p.a.

Did the research note get released? It's nearly 4 weeks since the investor meet when they suggested this would be around 2 weeks.

It's a ridiculous question. You need armies to prevent wars but wars themselves are bad for business and the economy.

As for pharma, I'd suggest you read up a little on pathology and also look into rich world demographic before trying to argue that this is all a corporate scam.

Nice little uptick today. Don't think we'll see them as cheap in the future, but I'd be happy to take another slice if they drop again.

Has anyone read the EGM papers? I'm guessing this is the one that will grant the authority for the awards.

Volume of around 1% of publicly held shares with another 1% traded on top. We can reasonably assume that there is not a cash raise unless there is a very specific use for the cash - and that would be out of line with the recent investor meet. I'll probably wait to see if tomorrow brings news but, all things being equal, the shares just look cheaper now so I might pick a random stock to divest to raise some funds for another dabble here.

The presentation itself was fairly amateur, imo. For a small company that is perhaps understandable but let's hope they can improve on that by sharpening the presentation style and getting rid of the typos in the slides.

Very tempted to shave off a little "profit" here. It looks like it's approaching a resistance level which suggests two things but I'm probably a little overweight in utilities and oil so I can justify it as a rebalancing exercise.

It's more about finding some funds to put elsewhere.

TeSCO is just a made up Tellerium compound. Given that it is one of the intermediate products here, it's far more appropriate if we had a LiCl bag for life.

You could be right although I would have been surprised if they had indicated a listing in December so half expecting the market would have taken the same view. But do agree that this is the big story which will tend to drown out other news even though I can't quite understand how it can be a drag on the SP now, but unlikely to trigger anything positive when resolved.

I think the market should take some positive news from the CEO appointment purely from the resolution of Steve Kessler's double role. I actually think they've found a very suitable pick.
