I thought the other recommendation was 11p which would make the market "consensus" 9.65p

You probably want to compare the results to FY24 rather than HY24 as much of the stock reduction was already presented. But the cash position has been improved by the loan notes so it's isn't clear that we're moving towards a cash generative business even with the cost reduction.

My holding here is quite small so I'm more inclined to wait for a more technical analysis of the results before I judge but I can't get too excited with these results and the presentation is just BS.

Most days here are "no news" days and the trading activity is usually very light. It can also be very frustrating when the share price drifts down on minimal trading, which it can do. The limited free shares makes it very hard to judge where it might go from one day to the next which might also account from the wide spread frequently seen.

Much better for the patient investor who recognises the growth potential. As and when news emerges through results or updates, we'll get a better idea of what might be a fairer valuation although we should be under no illusion that the share price will reflect this any time soon because the upside potential is so great.

Yesterday was a bit of an aberration but it introduced a new group of investors who've each got their own entry price and objective. Whether that creates a few new resistance points, I'll leave that to the quants. I wouldn't be surprised to see a little more downward drift before the next update which I would expect to push the SP up a level.

Where do you imagine the underlying negativity towards GNIP is, baf3? I hold the same shares I held on Friday and won't be selling any of them at these prices for reasons I have shared previously. Notwithstanding my own valuation target (48p-240p), the primary risk here is purely around agency risk linked to the ownership. As a stand-alone business, it is a sound investment, but with a single owner controlling 70% of voting rights, there are risks.

Multiplier, how many of those points are already included in the price.

As for the "peace discount", I can only offer the following counterarguments:

- Peace in Ukraine is an opportunity for Russia to rearm at which point the question is "where next?" It only increases the uncertainty and the need for hard power.

- Peace in the Middle East is, sad to say, a temporary cessation of hostilities.

The rest, apart from East Asia, is small change for BAE.

T21, that's hardly a warning if we don't know how much you paid in the first place. Buffett holds cash because US stocks are expensive. BA is cheap and I almost certainly will adding at this price.

One of the reasons why I wasn't as positive on the latest RNS was the impression it gave that funds were quite limited. And they still have the short term debt to repay which has to be done on ASX listing so this is also a drag. If the sentiment is that the business is being run on a shoestring, then you can understand why the positive operational news is not moving the price.

You do realise that you're just bombarding the boards with old information that the existing holders already know so I can only presume you are providing a service to newcomers who haven't looked into the company in any great detail and just go for momentum. What certainly doesn't look good is a thinly traded stock where there is one person making posts - the reader will rightly question the motives of the poster, particularly one who notes the stock is under the radar twice in one hour.

Spreads are going to take a large chunk of profits for any traders here so anyone looking for a quick profit will soon be gone (or already have)

The presentation on their website is probably your first point of call. The current business model is about as simple as they come. Two products, a relatively low cost base, and (to all intents and purposes) unlimited markets - there's a simple case study for any budding stock analyst.

There appears to be a little difference in opinion on the near-term expectation of SP movement. Interested in views from either side though am currently looking more at a buy opportunity if the price does take a temporary dip.

But also from a "fair-value" perspective, I wonder if the SP is looking a little pricey; in particular the P/E ratio of 30 is one that could be a little off-putting to new investors. We could adjust that for cash (though some of that will be needed to cover the company during off-peak season) but even this leaves us with c23x earnings which demands pretty strong growth.

Obviously they can't get hold of any for less than £2.

I see there was a Corporate Action note arrived in my in-tray today. Assuming is it CTL because it is one of only two stocks I hold both in ISA and GIA.

Oh no!! Price plummets 10% from a couple of sales.

Oh look, a mere £14k of buys and the price is up 20%.

I'll still bank some of the profit. I can sit back and wait for 325p before I might want to bank the next slice.

If the demand is "cash in the bank" I will defend the prudent policy of the company. But share buybacks, we have some room for negotiating to challenge the company on what it is planning to use the cash for.

I think it would be a shame if the company hadn't picked up a few shares on a discount. Not enough to drive it up, but enough to hoover up a few shares from those who have only just realised the price went up.

There is a certain inevitability that £25m of share purchases will provide at minimum a support level. It will be more interest to see what happens once the SP start to climb further.

I was being diplomatic. My persona on these boards is one of a measured risk taker rather than a crazed PI who complains of the slightest upset in company fortunes.

To use one example, I appreciate the award (even the irony) but feel there are those more deserving of the title "UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR"

While I think he has exaggerated certain elements here, he hasn't really addressed problems closer to home. He talks of spending levels at 2.3% of GDP but that is a mirage - in a two page report in the Times this weekend, Edward Lucas suggested we would run out of ammunition in 4 days!! Berating the Germans into spending more is fine but would hold water if we had even begun to replenish stocks we have already sent east.

To put the spending into some context, Poland are spending 4% right now and you can be fairly certain this will be in areas of importance to defence. Our own spending seems to be on an "Asian-tilt" when we can't even address the problem in our own backyard - drones tracking military sites or Chinese ships dragging anchors over sensitive communication lines in the Baltic.

At the moment, we are losing a war before it's even started.
