The filter button works fine enough for me but now the board is a flood of green. Would be nice if the SP did that too but we know about the governance issues here.

Not sure why a fund manager won't touch this because of a highly uncertain claim. Settle for just a third of the claim and that's $2bn (£1.5bn) or 71% of the current market value. The remaining portfolio has fair value of $2.2bn which gives a 50% SP upside before even allowing for any "intrinsic value" of the business.

By the time the claim is settled, the price would have recognised the value and the potential for gains will have gone.

Not only priced it, but the story today was more about how close the vote was suggesting expectations of fewer or smaller cuts in future.

And no sooner do the US markets open, then we are up. :-)

They made the payment without seeking the approval of the Board. The independent directors consider this a serious enough incident for them to issue an RNS.

I don't think anyone is suggesting it is criminal. But there may be one or two heads rolling.

Looks pretty solid to me and I can't see any holes. Revenue up, New commitments up, Income per share up.

Personal view, I think these shares are worth £12 minimum - with plenty of upside.

Seems to me that he is trying to flood the board with messages so that all that talk of dodgy loan payments get removed.

I would be surprised if the deal is $90m plus loans repaid. The headline figure is generally the money changing hands and it is usual that you'd quote the higher figure to make the deal sound bigger. It would also reflect very poor communication if they forgot to mention we get another $40m from the deal - even here, that sort of mistake feels too big.

An administrative error? Yet management have failed to demonstrate to the Independent Directors that the payment was reasonable and fair.

Much appreciated. I took the opportunity to take a bit of profit here by selling around a quarter of my holding as £13 was just too tempting. But ready and waiting it the SP starts to drift down again.

What's not to like here? Profits up, strong cash generation, dividend up and a hefty buyback.

Buyback now scheduled to pick up around 3.5% of total share capital.

EBITDA guidance of £5.5-7.5m.

To me these results look better. Thoughts?

Tax on dividends is 8.75% for basic rate tax payers so for them you'd be correct that it makes little sense to hold income stocks in an ISA if you pay more tax on capital gains. The relative tax burden switches if you are a higher (or even higher) rate payer and for them it makes more sense to put high dividend stocks in an ISA.
