Not sure what you are referring to by the "latest mess". If it is the 5p raise then I can hardly complain since it also allowed me to pick up lots of cheap shares and warrants.

Higher gilt yields are keeping these down right now and the latest "gas attacks" aren't helping. But by ex-div date things could look very different after Trump declares victory over a weekend of his choosing. Within a week I could imagine the SP somewhere in the 260's so back to the low 250's once it goes ex-div.

Now I imagine we have lots of disaffected investors who rushed in on the sudden rise yesterday. You can imagine where this will lead us.

Check through the SALT RNS feed. When they last did a capital raise, they should have issued a TM-1 for TEK's holding?

And just as the share is starting to show some early signs of upward movement. Looking at the PE ratio, the market seems to be accepting that TRN is not suffering a slow death.

The market accepted the RNS news with an almighty shrug. Maybe it's just LSE posters who feel upset about paying directors.

That's the submission, not the approval.

Yes, you would need to add in an expected growth of 2.5% to give a better comparison to risk free.

Where are you seeing the news that the IPO has been approved?

Gross redemption yield on the 2046 0.875% Gilt - 5.4% on my latest calcs or 5.13% net of basic rate tax. Net of 10.75% tax, PHNX is on 7.21% dividend yield.

For clarity I was commenting on the 750p price level - yield of 7.5% - which is not enough to interest me when I can get 5.5% risk free and partially tax-free or higher yields elsewhere.

Prices will rebound a bit when yields start coming down but most holders here have had excellent returns over the last 12-months so perhaps unsurprising that they want to stay longer but I don't see anything like the same scope for gains as there was when yields were c11%.

Certainly good value to be had here. I'll be looking to add around the 54p level if I get so lucky.

You can get 5.5% on 20yr gilts. I'd want a bit more than +2% from PHNX

Why all the hyperbole? Didn't we get the same terms as MET1 in the Retail Offer?

You can tell which posters are not invested because they are always predicting lower prices. That said, if these were going to £5, surprised there aren't more shorts in play.

Let's put aside the old news and just focus on the latest additional shares. This was a contractual arrangement, not a choice for JLP. Since you are upset about the dilution I can only conclude that, in line with my thesis, you are very positive for the prospects of the SP over the coming months.

As for similarities to an abusive relationship, I guess if you are of a mindset to find fault with any arrangement made by management, you are maybe expressing your own emotional stake here. I'm not sure exactly what Leon & Co can do if anything they do is wrong in your eyes. If this is the way you see things then I can only repeat what others have already said and question why you are still in this relationship.
