We've been here before MT. Talk the share price down on the bad news, then pick the shares up cheaply claiming they were clearly oversold.

I'm not sure how you square the argument that the shares are nearly worthless with the view that 60p is too cheap.

Hardly an explanation unless you are seeing some illuminati codes within those trades that my blinkered view won't reveal

Close enough to what they had announced - for some reason I thought it was a week or so earlier but it won't make all that much difference.

Perhaps you might explain to us how you think the share price is being (in your words) managed? There are plenty of other AIM stocks that are undervalued and there's little talk there of any behind the scenes skullduggery. I think the much simpler explanation here is that the market is waiting for more concrete evidence to support the valuation. Add to that limited trading that allows the price to drift in the "off-season".

In contrast, the "conspiracy" argument falls over for a number of reasons, not least it requires someone to sell shares that they secretly want to buy.

Shuvlin, I think there's too many unknowns for us to guess when the selling will stop. It might be easier to infer from the trades when it finally happens.

I think the market is overreacting here. Looks like there might be a window of opportunity to pick up some shares on the cheap.

Revenue slightly ahead of consensus but EPS slightly down. The results look really good with improved margins but we may find the market less happy that they are below expectations. Dividend up 10%

Let the market make its own mind up. I'm happy enough to hold on and reinvest the dividend when it comes.

2.8% of £50m is £1.4m or 25.5m shares. Rough estimate would suggest this is being unwound at rate of 1m per day so we might be talking 4 weeks for the position to be sold.

The pace of unwind is just a guess of course. The key point being that this will pass soon enough.

Different world. Not likely to get much sympathy here if you are sitting on a 180% profit and it seems to me you are angrier with yourself more than the company.

The analogy to the coal miners strikes is one of those things that makes me suspect JamesSimon has motives unrelated to the share price. It's clear enough that he wants the price to fall but there's a hidden motive and I'd be tempted to bet that it is coming from Moscow.

It's probably a bit late now to label these as cheap. But I'm sitting on c50% gain so my views on relative cheapness are rather skewed by experience - and I'm conscious that there will be longer term holders who see this differently.

I'd probably still see this as a stock to buy (I'm overweight in financials so happy to hold) and medium to long term prospects look solid. But not obviously cheaper than other stocks in the sector so people can select across a range of options, all of which look to be decent value and no obvious stand-out options.

That said, the stock has momentum and appears to continuing rising even when the rest of the market falls.

JLP also feature in Investors Chronicle today "The mining disruptors that could rock the industry". Nothing new that this board hasn't seen and the IC readers should already know about JLP but the strategy is well presented and it's always good to welcome new buyers with a longer-term view.

Just to flag that there are expecting news here by the end of the month on the CEOL announcement so we might be looking at a buying opportunity for the optimists.

Among the upcoming news highlighted in the recent interview.

- Recommence work at the mining site (September)

- ASX listing (mid-Sept)

- Sample finished product sent to off-takers (Sep/Oct)

- Reserve determination (Oct)

Plenty of news to keep us busy over the next couple of months.

It's all old news from May so has long been priced in. And even that announcement may have simply confirmed that the business model had moved away from one of acquisition into organic growth that was highlighted at the YE results.

I think the only news is the compensation arrangements.

I don't think my pitiful investment is going to move this share: it's not even going to pay my pension.

Now just time to sit back and wait. Next decision will be at 10p (or 5p)

It's a civilised discussion GP so no harm done. Perhaps brought about by my suggestion that I might throw a bit more in but no more than a dabble. For the less civilised version, there's plenty of NS Oil and Gas you can find - SQZ is one of mine.

As for direction of travel here, that's nothing more than an instinct on my part. If the price moves up, I have a few more options than I would have if I stuck with my original investment.

True in a way but the government is what is it and the electoral system decided who governed so that's history. Describing them as communist or similar is simply petulant and the sort of thing you'd expect from Reform voters who hold a surfeit of views but a deficit of solutions.

At risk of adopting the language of the new government, there needs to be a grown-up conversation in these matters. I don't believe that this means the demise of NS Oil on Gas for the simple reason that there are too many jobs at risk. I could be wrong but this is why I invested here.
