Dulwichman - I'm not sure you have poured any cold water on my view. I have not expressed a view on their solar efforts as they are demonstrating renewed interest in it. I say renewed as I remember the BP Solar office in Leatherhead in the nineties which faded away a little. But I think it must be the case that BD and BL with Board approval do have a strategy to put much more effort in developing a gas portfolio. In this I am sure they are all singing off the same hymn sheet.

BP do not build up a treasure chest without having a very good reason. It is certainly for re-investment and if you study BP's stated future direction they want to build a substantial gas portfolio. This will be an enormous help while they reduce their carbon footprint. They intend to be the leading light of all their contemporaries in this.

Now let me see - where are there very very large undeveloped gas reserves?

It seems to me that Frontera are not without the means to to achieve a good result. If we are envisaging the involvement of an SM and BH then 20 years and $400m and all the detailed knowledge accumulated during that time cannot be dismissed and needs to be paid for one way or another. International convention demands no less.
The best way to achieve a successful outcome for all, and most of all for the Georgian people, is to reach agreement between all the parties so that these incredible natural resources can be realised in a proper, planned and profitable way.

A company that has been liquidated is simply that. It doesn't have employees or assets. Those that were there have left. It is a dead parrot. Now I have no idea what redundancy pay employees in Georgia are due, but if block12 is now sold and whatever assets, including money, have been transferred to another Frontera company I would very much hope that these employees will be looked after. Maybe we will find out soon.

I'm disappointed if this case doesn't continue as I am really curious about the YA and the naked shorting situation that we assumed might have been part of the discovery process. I think we can be as sure as possible that Frontera know what went on otherwise why hasn't YA been mentioned for months - I'm intrigued.

Yesterday morning I remarked upon an interview given on Sky by James Zirin an American lawyer who was describing how Donald Trump "weaponises", his words, against people who take legal action against him. He uses every trick in the book from changing lawyers mid-case to not paying them, changing venues and any other procedure that he can to frustrate those who are chasing him and cause their costs to balloon out of control until they give up.
I must say that ODR immediately recognised the comparison I was making to our own situation, others did not. Now that many more posts have been made on the subject the similarities are even more stark.

I've just been watching Sky where Adam Boulton was interviewing American prosecutor James Zirin. He was describing Trump"s view of the American legal system where no matter if there was a good case against him he would try (and succeed) in forcing his opponent(s) into bankruptcy by doing all he could to prolong the case, changing and not paying his lawyers, changing venues and putting as much pressure on his opponents as possible in order to force them to give up.
