Bomber - I'm not sure that reply covers it. It should be your decision what shares are held in your portfolio not II. You bought and paid for them, obviously they cannot be traded for now but they should still be in your account until if and when you decide otherwise.

This is dejavu all over again. If you had used a decent Broker they would have received a total nominee holding from FRR and then allocated that to individual accounts. That holding and book cost will then be retained in your account. Both Dave73 and myself (and others) have said this many times before. It seems that iii and HSBC are two examples of how NOT to do it. Maybe those of you who are affected might want to review your choice of Broker.

Don't worry about RR. As he was wrong about Zaza and Brexit he's probably gone off to have his crystal ball overhauled.

If I was interviewing SN for a middle ranking management role, and based on those interviews with him that I have seen, he would not be successful. He is incapable of making good and timely decisions and is not an effective communicator. He may be suitable for an administration role albeit one needing adequate supervision. He should most certainly not be in an executive position in any company.

I've posted this before _ When Frontera delisted they sent a certificate of total nominee holding per broker. The broker should then have then allocated the correct number to each individual account. If they did not do this then they are incompetent and just seem to be using any old excuse to try and fob people off.

My broker observed the correct procedure and my shares are listed in my account along with the book cost.

Frontera do have these records even if your broker has screwed up so don't worry too much.

Yet another twist in the saga. However, just remember the end goal. Whoever the players might be SN, ZM, Hope, GD and "Uncle Tom Cobbly an all" , it is all about power, influence, some politics, pride etc. but most of all money. That is the essential driver behind all of this, and you need the money before the wealth and influence follows.

Now call me old fashioned but I cannot believe any of the players engaged in these shenanigans would let a huge oil and gas asset and all the "money" that represents go to waste. No, each one of these players is plotting on a daily (even hourly) basis how to monetise the assets and accrue at least some of the wealth and influence that goes with it.

We shareholders are just passengers on the journey that's true, but there will be more than enough money to go around when this saga comes to a conclusion.
