There has recently been another positive indicator - the proposed return of Woolworths to the High street. Those among us - you know who you are - who thought they had got away with not having to display their posteriors to the passing public in "Woolies window" may now have to prepare themselves to exhibit. Just something else to look forward to.

Quite a mix of opinions here, from manic depressives to optimists. I am in the latter camp and thank Looed for keeping me there. It is however depressing to see posts like that from ian12 that demonstrate inexcusable ignorance.

There have been many ups and downs over the last five years yet there are still those who want to take shots, even legal ones, over what is still a fluid situation. What nonsense. More, maybe not much more, patience is required until a result. Let us keep hoping it will be positive.

Drmike33 - You are right it was a lucky, it was not a considered choice. However Frontera was a considered choice and so far that hasn't been lucky. Let's hope that all this "stuff" gets sorted soon then we can all relax.

Every Broker would have received notification of the total number of shares in their nominee holding. The Broker would then allocate the respective number of shares owned to each individual account. My Lloyds/Halifax account shows the correct number of shares in my holding and the total book cost of purchase. If your Broker has done some or none of these things then you need to find yourself a decent Broker that does what is required.
Both Dave 73 and myself have highlighted this over the years many times.
