Block 12 has enormous resources but it is not just about extraction but the full journey to the end market, to the consumer via pipelines, refineries, processing plants etc. The route to monetising the assets must be via one (or more) super majors who have these unbroken routes to market.

Tsbs - I just don't see the logic of your argument. For me it would have to be one or the other. We have the one - BH. the other has to be an SM proper to get at the gas from well drilling to the end market along with the oil.

At the last meeting Zaza alluded to reduced development cost of 300 million and production revenue estimates increasing by 1 billion. In the latest BP magazine describing their Mad Dog 2 project in the Gulf of Mexico (Yes I know it's underwater) the original development cost estimate was 20 billion. It's going to come in at 9 billion. A huge difference. Those sorts of figures repeated in Block 12 and the numbers become too silly to think about.

A share consolidation at this stage would be quite wrong. Not only would it distract from all the other things going on, but Zaza has already said it is not going to happen until the share price (market cap) is much higher. It would also destroy what liquidity there is.
