Looks like you're an oul softie, Mike. Deep down we all are. When I was growing up my schoolmates had a terrier like mongrel called Scruffy. Their Mom insisted the mongrel be left outside while having a meal as the kids would keep giving him scraps. The more he got the more he wanted. Really he just wanted attention. After being put out the mongrel would then position itself on the windowsill looking directly at the diners. If they made eye contact the mongrel would turn his head sideways and look at them in such a pitying way. It was enough to draw tears from a stone. Mom used to say "just don't look at him" Reading mm's stuff just brings back memories of poor our Scruffy all those years ago being on the outside looking in.

Bren, My advice to you is not to respond and if I'm tempted (hard to resist,I know) you can advise me the same. Most of the folk on here bought in to AYM between mid 2013 and the end of 2016 at about 2p. That's a 50% to 75% increase in our investment already with the best yet to come. Jealousy is a very power emotion so it's understandable if he's upset. As we are all up a few bob could we have a collection to send him off to Las Vegas, they're bound to have a competition there for Prize P---k. A certainty for 1st place, we could even make a few bob by betting on him.

AYM's directors are also directors of Minco which is in the process of receiving C$ 25 Million (£15 Million) for a 2% stake in Dalradian. Dalradian is as close to production as AYM. AYM should be worth at least six or seven times that 2% stake. Most of the shareholders posting here got in at under 2P. With even the smell of a buyout we'll be able to walk away with at least 10 times our original stake. We don't need to wait for production to start. So, while we are counting our cash mm will console himself that in theory he's right.

The american short ton is 2,000 lbs, the British (long ton) is 2240 lbs (112x20) and the Metric ton is 2204.6 lbs. The metric ton coincides with the price per lb and price per ton which should be called Tonne but the Yanks can't spell. I'd ask the resident statistician but he (mm) must be gone over to Washington to sort out Trump. I reckon metal prices will stay steady for a few days to absorb yesterdays shock and then creep away upwards. It would be fantastic if we could get the Indians and Chinese bidding against each other for AYM. Vedanta own the Lisheen mine in Ireland which closed down early 2016. All the buildings and equipment should be in good condition and could be shipped over at very low cost. It processed 15 million ton of ore since 1999 so everything would be just right for Parys.

Getting more valuable by the day. I,m still hopeful the Minco people (same Directors) join up in some way or other. They have a nice bit of cash and shares in Dalradian. They received almost C$ 25,000,000 worth of shares for a 2% (only TWO per cent) royalty in Dalradian with 75% going to shareholders and 25% going into Buchans with the rest of Minco's assets. Glad to be called a fool by Ebenezer. The people I mix with are for the most part happy,contented, fulfilled people with a positive outlook. I value those people all the more when I come across the likes of mm (very seldom thankfully). I feel sorry for the people who have live with him or even the neighbours living nearby. As I'm a good natured chap I even feel sorry for mm himself having to live with those demons 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 52 weeks of every year (Happy Christmas coming soon MM) The Doctors have medication for all kinds of conditions but they can't make a miserable sod happy.

I'm guessing a lot of the folks on here got involved between mid 2013 and late 2016 when the SP was well under 2P. If they spent £5,000 they would have received about 250,000 AYM shares which would now be worth almost £10,000. If they bought a new mid-range car it would drop £5,000 in value as soon as they drove it out of the forecourt. All the neighbours and friends would be out congratulating and saying well done. Strange isn't it that some people would find it foolish to buy shares which have doubled and could easily double again and yet perfectly normal to lose £5000 on a car.

All the folk on here will be dead in 50 years so why bother. The optimistic part of me has me in AYM. I know AYM is a very valuable source. I know it will be mined. I know the the SP could be many times the present 3P. What I don't know is when things will happen. I do know I'll be on the AYM bus when it takes off. There would be no point in saying "I knew about them" in a few years time when the SP is 20P. I'm happy with the directors. They've been unlucky with LIM but have done well to hold on to AYM through tough times and they haven't been greedy. BTW Zinc stocks now down to 261,100 tons, Zinc is $2959 Lead is $2395 and Copper is $6490. What's not too be optimistic about ?

I took a bit of a holiday (she confiscated my laptop) so I missed the fun. It was like a Hen party with all the Hens wearing 6 inch heels and, after consuming too much of whatever, finishing the night flatfooted. I think what happened was for the best. Good riddance to the folk who buy in,want to make a quick killing and get out after a few hours. It also means the Chaps here can top up at at reasonable prices if they are so inclined. The Minco People have a ball of money and Dal shares which could be used as a deposit for our deposit but apparently it's going to take a few months to get the paperwork for the TSX listing. Two recently closed mines, Lisheen and Galmoy, in Ireland should have lots of good used machinery and equipment and are only 2 hours from the Holyhead ferry. It should be possible for Bill to get his hands on it for Aym. McParland's QME has done a lot of work for the Bolidan mine near Navan (biggest in Europe, 5th in world) and Dalradian. QME are 1 hour from the Holyhead ferry. Lots of metal and lots of expertise around. All we need is patience.

Just thinking to myself. Even if we get very good news this week I don't think there will be a massive jump in the SP. What we'll have is some Daygos jumping in and making a few bob and s****ering. Just like seagulls in Margate swooping down to grab a few chips out of your hand and gone again. I'd say a proper takeoff could start in three or four weeks time when the investment houses and their managers have settled down after the summer holidays. These folk buy can buy all the loose hanging fruit to store away. That's happened with Dalradian and Blackrock (NY based) buying in dribs and drabs and now having almost 12% of Dal. The Guys on here are in a lovely situation except for the one.
