Once upon a time, as a lad, I worked in a mine, tough job, good money etc. One of the top managers (very pleasant chap, with a bucketful of degrees in Geology, Metallurgy and all kinds of stuff I couldn't pronounce) gave me very good advice. He said "Working for a mine is OK but it's much better to make the mine work for you" All of the chaps on here understand that except for the one.

Don't forget Minco's EGM is on Wed week in Dublin (less than 2 hours to Holyhead) That means John Kearney (He who makes things happen) will be on this side of the pond. I remember a few years ago after a Minco AGM all the AYM directors s****ered off to a private room where they had an AYM directors meeting. The timing is a teeny bit more than coincidental. My psychicabilityness feels there is going to be some kind of a tie up between the two. Minco's new company, Buchans, will have a nice bit of collateral plus a listing in Toronto where they like miners.

Lad's,ye are bone idle - all the info is there on the RNS's so I'll type it out for ye. On July 26th an EGM will be held in Dublin to accept the Dalradian offer. 99.99 % will vote YES (like a Russian election) There's bound to be a nutcase with 20 shares who will vote no. August 10th is the last day of trading in Minco shares which will be suspended on the 11th. Dalradian shares will be issued on August 17th. We should be receiving our Buchans shares (to be traded on TSX) the same time. So by your date of Sept 11th we'll all be rich.

Huge drop in Zinc stocks, now down to 199,950. this is massive. They'll be gone by next week. What the- - - - Oops,Oops,Oops, Sorry Lads, I made a mistake. That's a constant drop of two to two and and a half thousand tons every day for quite a while now. BTW, Mr D and Mr B I get that figure on London Metal Exchange;Zinc. The figure is updated daily at 3.00 am. Kitco update half a day later (lazy sods) Things are moving kinda slowly just now but when the "sell in May and go away" crowd come back after the summer hols it'll be a different story. Some people are sceptical about the "sell in May" theory but the same thing happens every year.

I know this because the Wife's ( She snores every Tue night) brother has a 1st cousin who's wife drives a JCB in the Zinc warehouse and she counts the no of scoops (each scoop is one ton) going out and then texts me the number. Trouble is she's dyslexic and gets her sevens mixed up with fours and ones. As a result I would only be 90% accurate. Zinc will start off today at $2825 ad finish close to $2900/ton. Copper from $5900 to $6000 if not today then tomorrow defo. Wheat's down 1.15%, Corn down 1.87% and Pork Bellies are --- Oh, Oh. I'll have to ask Trump about that one. I'd go back to bed but the Wife is still snoring.

Let's be precise Mr B, the figure is 279,225 as of 3.00am on LME;zinc this morning. Being exact could keep us focused and entertained while we wait for the big jump. Indeed, we could have a bet each week as to what the figure will be on each Sat @ 3.00 AM. My bet for this Sat is C$5 for under 271,500. Any takers?

Yes B, JK is the Main Man in Canadian Zinc(CZN) He has extraordinary patience, a lesser man would have given up on CZN long ago. The pen pushers in local govt departments have caused huge delays at every opportunity. It takes them years to make a decision about anything even though the locals are 100% behind the mine. They are just waiting for permission to build a road to link up with the nearest highway, so far everything had to be brought in by air. If he can organise CZN in the back of beyonds, Amlwch will be a walk in the park. He's also after getting a great deal for Minco for their 2% royalty in Dalradian. I've a gut feeling a lot of good things will happen in the next few months. We are in good hands.

Seasoned Old Campaigners here. We don't say much but the fireworks are about to begin. You need to read and decipher the RNS's. EGM on July 26th followed by delisting two weeks later and issuance of new shares in Dalradian and Buchans. It's a bit complicated but fantastic deal for Minco shareholders. The reason we are quiet is because Mio shareholders won't sell and aren't tempted by the miserable bids at the moment.

Zinc stocks last night at 287,375. They were at 317,975, a drop of 30,600, just 3 weeks ago (15 trading days). So Mr Bren the rate at which they are dropping is increasing.They'll be at zero by December. $3000/ton surely is only a few days away. After that the sky's the limit. BTW after reading Mr MM's posts I'm really,really sorry I bought so many around the 2P mark, no logic at all. Uninformed chancers like some of us here shouldn't be allowed out. So Mr MM you stick to your principles, save up your money and when the SP is £1 then you can pounce. Minco (same Directors as Aym) are after getting a fantastic deal with Dalradian which is still a year from receiving planning another year from production and their SP is £1 (C$ 1.70)

Last Friday's price is about 20 times what it should be if it is to be valued properly. Reason? Look at my post of last Friday at 15.42 pm. It has a remarkable address at 162 Clontarf Road Dublin. Several dozen companies operate out of that building and with so few people working there. It's amazing. I had a dream a few night's ago that each of Teelings Companies had found something valuable, Gold, Silver, Copper, Zinc, Lead, Oil, Diamonds, Platinum etc., the list goes on and on. Guess what happened next? I woke up.

I'M shocked my prediction for today didn't come true. I hope the DDT'S aren't upset too much.( Ma Heart Bleeds) The Minco/Dalradian Biz is on schedule anyway with the EGM on in Dublin on July 24th. Within a few weeks of that Mio will have a ball of cash and a listing in Toronto (where the mining money is) so it would make great sense for a tie up between the two as they have the same directors. All run from 162 Clontarf Road in Dublin with the same few people ("we don't do overheads") West African Diamonds, Stellar Diamonds, Rockwell Diamonds, African Diamonds, Clontarf Energy, Botswana Diamonds (A great place to find diamonds says John) African Gold, Persian Gold, Pan Andean Resources, Petrel Resources, Asa Resource Group, 162 Group, Atlas Minerals, Swala U.K. Connemara Mining (Project in Co Limerick, could be worth something by the middle of this Century) Kukama Mining and many more. Of course he has had success with the likes of Cooley Distillery but these are kept within his own family and circle. The risk taking (Miracles can happen) is left to you folks. A Gold prospect in Donegal (only 50 miles from Dalradian says John) and another in Wexford. Zinc licences galore in Ireland (same country as Bolidan Mine in Co Meath says John) Born in the early forties and now a very lively sixty something (where's my calculator) It's quite possible all of his companies could be very successful by the time he reaches 100.

We're coming out of a long snooze and all our chaps have disappeared. Could be the Algarve or the Med or further afield. I hope they're not gone on ahead, it would be a shame if the heirs got all the benefits of the oldtimers wisdom.

Oh, Maybe not, They could be cutting a deal with Minco (same directors). Minco will have a nice few bob in the kitty when the Dalradian deal goes through and a listing in Toronto. Whichever way it goes all of the long termers will be well deserved big winners. I wouldn't worry about the hoppers in and out.
