I reckon this is to do with Dalradian which is rising very quickly in Toronto. A deal to buy back the royalty is very much on the cards. Zinc stocks are coming into play also. Zinc is $2843/ ton, lead is $2400/ ton and stocks are at a new low at 386000 tons which is about 1/3 of a months worldwide usage.

This kind of activity doesn't happen without a reason. Must be some startling news on the way.

Is there some news due from Dalradian in the next few days about their N.I. project. Maybe Moate also?

Just to remind all you Folks, The AGM is on in the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin on Friday week Nov 25th at 11am. I expect news on a lot of their projects there. One clincher and we won't be seeing 1.3 pennies a share again and that's for sure.

Minco have been asleep for a while but have cash and a lot of valuable projects. 5 or 6 mil US Dollars..a 2% NSR in Dalradian, probably worth over 4% SP. Rumours say a deal is close At present they are drilling a zinc and lead prospect near Moate Co Westmeath in Ireland. They also have licences beside Navan Mine. Also have well advanced projects in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia (check out Buchans) They have been doing a lot of work with the Canadian Govt and Canadian Zinc on these. They are also sitting a very good prospect in the Pennines near Nenthead which was an old mining area early last century. They have been sparing the cash while metal prices were low but there has been a huge rise in the last few months. BTW. John Kearney is involved in all of the above as well as AYM. GLA.

It's 3 weeks since they started the 6 hole 1400 metre drilling program at Moate. That's about 760 feet for each hole. Anyone know what speed they drill at ? Can they drill one hole every week. I believe the assay lab is only 40 miles away so we should hear some results fairly soon.

No charge for the laugh TM and no tax either. Gone a bit quiet again, I think the buyers are tiptoeing around quietly so as not to make too much of a fuss. The Minco shareholders are a resilient bunch, like anglers, with lots of patience. If they want our shares they'll have to pay. At the moment they can only get them in dribs and drabs. Everyday is a day closer to the AGM so worth the wait.

No twitter crowd coming in here. Their maximum spend is 100 Pounds. All the buys for quite a while now have been from several hundreds to a few thousand. That means steady growth with no jumping in and out every time they make 20 quid.

Seems like we are on the verge of a breakout at last. Any bit of news from a Dna deal, Buchans or Moate could see us at 4-5 p by the AGM. The 1st hole at Moate should be nearing completion by new.

A few more deals again this morning with the price holding. The same will probably happen again in a few days time to get the SP back well over 2P where it should have been all along. With zinc moving up (now $2240) there should be some worthwhile interest in some of their projects between now and the AGM which I'd expect in Nov this year. More from DNA by then also.

It's been lonely here for quite a while. Where are all the old timers. They could be getting rich and not realize it. Don't know the reason for today's move but it's long overdue.

I see zinc has finally passed the $2000 mark by a massive 50 cents and stocks are now down to under 379,000 tons. At least things are going in the right way however slowly. The Gold price is falling back a bit which isn't good for our DNA stake in the short term but I hear the work there is progressing well. Looks like we'll have to wait for a bit later in the year for some action on that one. If that Zinc price keeps rising ,as it should, some of our projects might come to life again.

Zinc stocks now at 404,275 tons with $1950 price per ton. Should break the $2k and 400k marks next week. Those plus the overdue news should give us a good lift after the bank holiday.

If the MM's want shares then they will have to pay for them. Almost all of the Minco shareholders are longtermers. We are like old anglers with lots of patience and not interested in sprats. Things are looking good on several fronts just now. DNA is zooming up, our stake there is worth the present SP. The zinc price should be over the $2000 mark in a few days with stocks at a new low , 410.000 tons. Wisely they are sitting on a nice cash pile and can afford to wait to strike good deals. Even poor old XAG could come back to life with silver @ $17 and rising.

Yes indeed, FITB spiked at 14 pennies (maybe you are in Canadian cents) for a few hours in Nov 14 and now are sitting at half a penny with no takers. I have no problem with risky shares (long experience) where you may win or you may lose. Sure losers are a different matter. Read DNA reports and compare to CON's. Enough said. Gold at the moment is US$ 1239.41 per OZ (ounce) Results are given in g/ton. Some folks don't seem to realize there are 28.375 grams in an oz.

The headlines are aimed mining companies who will come in and spend a few million in exchange for a share of the licence. Unfortunately that game is played out. Too many companies have got scalded.
