It's quite here for the moment but not for long. The Irish Lads must be taking a break for St Pats Day and Cheltenham. Zinc stocks are dropping rapidly, down 50,000 tons in 4 weeks to just 449,000 tons today, almost at an all time low. 2014 consumption was 13.6 million tons which is 1.13mil tons per month.

Is that us or is it Cheltenham. Have we woken up? I can feel a thousand eyes watching us all ready to jump in. If I had some very, very positive news I think I'd hold onto for a little bit just to annoy them.

Maybe they got something positive out of the PDAC gig over in Toronto Which finished on Wed. Over 23,000 mining folk from all over the globe including lots of Chinese attended. The Canadians are getting bullish about possible mining projects. They invested $535,000 in the MIO and CZN project in Buchans. Hopefully we'll have more news over the next few days. That sub 1p SP won't last long.

On Dec 2nd Canadian Zinc and Minco agreed to spend 735,000 canadian dollars, 100k each plus 535k from the Ca Gov, to explore the possibility of a single Milling operation for both their properties in central Newfoundland. P.S. Prairie Creek is over in the North West.

I see our John Kearney has signed an agreement on behalf of Canadian Zinc for the sale of lead and zinc concentrate from the Prairie Creek mine, up in the wilds of North Eastern Canada, to Bolidan and Korea Zinc. Bolidan are the folks running Tara mine in Navan County Meath in Ireland (5th biggest in the world). Our Kearney is a busy chap, so I'd say Minco is in very good hands. Phew!! It's a small world.

Zinc stock levels are still going down rapidly , in spite of the additions this year. On 23rd Feb they were at 503,000 tons and today are at 475,000 tons. Any female CEO's out there willing to make a decent proposal to us on Feb 29th. I'm sure we'd be highly receptive. Anybody see any drill rigs heading to Moate Co Westmeath, I believe that's the next move. Metal prices are holding and moving up well in spite of all the turmoil.

bit of interest showing and with good reason. Lead and Zinc prices are well up and it looks like they'll continue to rise. Zinc stocks have been going down for quite a while and we are looking at a shortage very soon. There were a few blips with zinc warehouses not listed with LME but I wouldn't expect more of that. Gold is well up and that's good for our stake in Dalradian. Silver too is rising so maybe our interest in Xtierra might be worth something at long last. Minco are supposed to start drilling six holes at a prospect in County Westmeath in the next few weeks. Hopefully one of our prospects will sit up and be noticed.

It,s here at last and going to be a good one according to my economics adviser down at the duck and drake. Zinc is moving up slowly but hopefully should take off very soon. Stocks are going down very quickly. Early November 580,000 tons, early Dec 520,000 tons and now 465,000 tons. If they keep dropping at this rate, who knows. Minco might even go up as far as, as, as, as. Any guesses anyone? A penny, tuppence, truppence or even fippence.

I bought a lot of shares in Mio in the 2p to 3p range and above and am still confident they will make money so why wouldn't I keep picking them up at a fraction of the earlier price. Any one of their projects could make Mio fly when the market improves. If we could get $20 mil for a 23% stake in P.G. in shaky times, why wouldn't we get $50 mil for our 100% owned manganese mine when the climate is right. That's 10 US cent a share. Well worth waiting for. I can't predict the future, if I could read next weeks papers now, esp the racing results, I'd be up there with Bill Gates and Warren B. I feel the investment is fairly secure as long as they don't go wild and blow the money they have. Mightn't be a share for the impatient just now but 2016 is nearly here. The 37500 was my buy. I bid 0.61 P which should show as blue. The price went through at 0.5998 which shows as red. MM's playing games maybe ? I've topped quite a bit since late Nov with most of my trades showing red. I'll keep nibbling away every time I find a few bob as long as SHE doesn't find out. P.S. She has a fur coat in the attic that hasn't been worn for ages. Should be worth 50,000 Minco, any takers ?

Where there's disappointment, there's opportunity. Zinc prices are very low just now but that can't last. Zn stocks were 580,000 tons at the end of October, now 517,000. I don't think sub 1p prices will be available in the new year so I'm topping up as much as I can while the going is good.

Five days for a worthwhile announcement or two. Will there be some news about(1) a Buchans Manganese deal. (2) More from the other Buchans projects. (3) starting up the Pennines again.They should have a lot of info at this stage. (4) drilling at Moate, I'd expect some of those holes to show 15% pb/zn. (5) Our stake in DNA. Downey is a director of MIO and DNA. We've still got a nice wad of cash and they are being careful with it. The markets have been very depressed for a while now but are overdue a bounce back. Foolish or not I've topped up quite a bit at these sub 1p prices. We'll see.

SP dropping on very low no of small trades for the last few months and then just yesterday 2,700,000 shares traded. .Zinc prices rise almost $200 on Friday due to Glencore announcing they are going to cut production by 500,000 tons a year. This should have some effect on Minco very quickly. We are overdue some announcements plus the fact that the AGM will have to be held before year/end. Surely it will be in Dublin this time.

Very depressing watching Mio and zinc prices for the last few months. However Glencore have announced major cuts in production. Big jump in prices with Zinc up $193 / ton at this moment. Next few weeks should be very interesting. I won't be the only one topping up at these prices.

Teeling getting itchy again. If there are any guys out there with money you want to get rid of, now,s your chance. For anybody with a spark of common sense don,t touch these with a barge pole. For anybody foolish enough to be caught holding CON, grab that bid of 1.5 as quick as you can.

Well done Mr T. If he could find Pb or Zn or AG (lol) or Au (Gold ???? LOL, LOL, LOL,) the way he finds suckers then Con might be worth a fraction of a penny. A couple of million shares bought, some of them at over 2 pennies. You would have a much better chance of making money by backing a lame donkey in the Grand National. I've been humming that song by Peter, Paul and Mary "Oh When Will They Ever Learn" since I saw shares being bought.
