Been away for a bit, including a few days at Cheltenham. We are very mild on this site compared to that lot. Tens of thousands of folk roaring and shouting at the poor horses who hadn't a word of english between them. "Get a move on" "what's wrong with ya", "give'm the whip", "keep out from the ditch", "get the lead out" (N.B. Bill) Sometimes it can be hard to tell what's normal behaviour. The futility of it all would have given Trev a few seizures and yet everybody seemed to be quite happy and in great spirits at the end of each evening.

Massive jump in stocks. Zinc stocks up 77,000 tons, now at 209,050tons. Could be warehouse coming under control of LME or massive delivery. Two deliveries of Lead, 9K and 13K, in the last couple of weeks also. Lead stocks now at 134,600 tons. Prices are still massive but this will probably push them down a bit for the moment.

Mentioning family might be taboo in some quarters, but I'll risk it. Due to weather, my grandson will stay here for a few days. How to keep him amused was a concern until I came up with a brilliant idea. I'm going to get him to count the number of words from each of the major contributors to this site for the month of Feb. Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be awarded to the winners. Emphasis will be on quantity, not quality. Results on Friday. I fully expect to be amongst the medals.

Trev, you old fool, when I mentioned Colonel Brunderbus I was talking about YOU. That said your piece was very well put together and there isn't anything there that I could really disagree with. I was reared by very soft liberal Parents who would let me away with anything and consequently I don't always focus completely on the task in hand (not that it matters here) I didn't get my first dictionary until I was five years old. You on the other hand were probably reared by a very strict ,starch aproned, Nanny who instilled in you the " not suffer fools gladly" approach. That's a tough cross to carry as most people are in that category. I'm looking forward to your next report and I'm sure we'll all do our best to give you loads of ammo. Of course in the meantime Bill could come along with all the good news that we've been waiting for and then we'll all merge into one big happy family. This weeks finish for zinc stock levels is 140,975 tons with lead at 113,650 tons. The drop continues.

Well Mr B, that zinc figure is now 143,750 tons. Buchans waiting to get listed so probably have to wait for that for any involvement. Could be soon, same directors..

Yep, Lead and Zinc usually go together (like Love and Marriage or Horse and Carriage) I've never heard of either metal being found without the other. Lead prices were always a bit higher than Zinc until about two years ago. 2016 Lead consumption was 11,116,000 ton with stocks at 114,375 tons which is near enough 1%. Another factor is most of lead can be recycled but not so with zinc. Also the newly developing countries don't have much to recycle unlike the West. Even though the prices are rising quite a lot I'm surprised there isn't more of a fuss as these are two very important metals.

Drop continues for Zinc and Lead stocks. Zinc below 150 K for the first time at 149,100 tons and Lead at 114,375 tons

There are Pessimists who think nothing will happen and there are Optimists who think Aym will fly. There's an occasional visitor with an agenda but are unsure what the agenda is like the one I nearly tripped over just now. My advice is make up your own mind. They are a gamble so there is no certainty. My thinking is they are very undervalued at the present SP. With just 178 million shares out a price of 30P a share would put a market/cap of �54 Million and that would seem reasonable IF,IF,IF,IF they were on the verge of production. If and when is the question nobody can answer just now but a few on here are very hopeful and even confident.

Zinc stocks down again, now at 151,600 tons and lead stocks also at a new low of 117,375 tons. So far prices just tiptoeing up. Bound to be a bit of panic shortly. Could even be some rationing. Could we get a certain ethnic group with transit vans interested ? They go crazy looking for copper and lead. They even climb up onto church roofs to acquire those metals so going underground wouldn't be a problem.

Back at the Ranch I see stocks down again with zinc at 154,350 tons and lead at 121,075 tons. BTW did any of you old Romantics out there get any Red Roses today ? or did ye send any ?

We give a bit of pushback and they get upset. Ironic. Most of the chaps on here enjoy the bit of banter and realize full well there are no guarantees. (Try Govt Bonds @ !%PA) Small investors don't need to wait for Parys to start producing. The shares will surge long before then so we can quite happily sell on to the Big Boys who will stay in for the long term. They say "always leave something for the next fella" At this stage everything is in the hands of the company (or the lap of the Gods) and all we can do is wait. The views of one or two Psychologists would be useful.

Everything Trev says is absolutely true and cannot be contradicted by any sane, rational, civilised human being. Reminds me of my schooldays when we had one very firm Teacher. After a grand entrance, he would proclaim "No laughing, no whispering, no messing and Hey You Smith !!! wipe that smirk off your face" We all obediently complied until some unfortunate well fed Farmers son farted and chaos resumed. Sherlock Holmes himself couldn't have got an admission of guilt from any of the offenders. We did learn resilience, perseverance and patience which is now standing to me with Aym.

When I was a young fella we used to get 2 bean tins, punch a tiny hole in them and run a long piece of string through from one to the other. I remember talking into one but I don't remember hearing anything. (A bit like our Bill. ) Anyway the other Bill (Gates) or Steve Jobs stole our idea. When we tired of our communications efforts we recycled the tins by putting in two more holes and tying the tins to the soles of our shoes so we could walk around 4 inches taller. Nowadays the young wans pay a fortune for shoes with 4 inch heels going to hen parties. We really were ahead of our time.
