CRL there is no valuation reason to be under 20p with the information available, 13p who knows but having had a year where I had no funds to join post the relisitng buy of mine, to see them at it the again is for once a possitive thing for me. You just need to sit on your hands.

I think 13p is looking possible next week. Ours is to not ask why but to capitalise when presented with these regular opportunities.

Weissy, I like technical to reinforce a fundamental view so do follow these things. What do you think about possible resistance at the 2015 high? I am feeling it could get choppy around there, however with the convergence of some of the possible bullish outcomes for oil it may well just go ballistic straight into the 70/80’s?

I think oil is on a trajectory that will be satisfied by technical reason until $63, throw in a US cold snap and a few more outages and it will only speed up the process. However looks to me WTI is reacting to to the latest models which show harsh condition even to the whole of Florida in the new year! CRL, we are totally on the same page, I am certain next year we will build on the strength seen this year. I hope the stress levels are much better now than this time last year, I think you dare not believe we could get back to 20p and even 14p we end the year on is a great result for you and me. Having said that I would not feel TRIN was stretching valuations even at 45p, certainly if the future started to look more certain regarding fiscal reigime and production uplift. Let’s hope the reforms are worth the wait, not too bothered if they get one last kick from it. Short sighted in my opinion as I believe they are loosing more from future revenue as oil production continues to decline as producers wait so they can plan their businesses. Just shows how even somone of Imbert’s education and background can loose the bigger picture. An announcement shortly after the budget where they stated news before the end of the year would have been a confidence boosting move that the oil industry seriously need, leaving it to the last minute is farsical, if they delayed the implementation so T&T can cream some of the SPT in the short term so be it, at least plans can be made. I am still very confident it will come but execution at the moment is woeful.... The closing share price is intersting and for the first time since January we are near a similar situation as when we relisted at 7p and could not be missed. Oil is closing on $60 14p is getting close to gift territory.

If the differential is still narrow on what Petrotrin pay us we should be at $47 oil equivalents with the SPT still in place, this will give us $4.2m profit inc G&A per QRT. Plenty to continue the accelerated paydown of debt and the removal of the convertible loan note. The groundwork has been done for an excellent year next year, let’s hope we have a little luck and really capitalise on it.

Hi GO, good to hear from you and think as you say focus is better placed for 2018, this year and oils recovery has set a fantastic foundation for the new year. CRL, I agree with you MM are frustrated hence advertised drop this morning and possible hunting for the few that may have set stop losses. Just noticed bid offer is back Tom 14.75p and 15.75p so as you say I think MM May have a sore head this morning after Christmas’s do and loosing the plot.....

I know you hear it on a lot of forums about MM tree shakes and fishing for stock. I see some people using these phrases on stocks that have risen 400% and I find it laughable after such a rise. However I think we can apply it to TRIN, it has a very thin following of PI’s and MM can play the tune they want with TRIN. We have been here before and like in the summer the disconnect with reality in the pricing of TRIN gave me heat that people are still jostling for a position.

Like the summer MM’s are using this gap in news from the government/company to work a trade by the looks of it. My guess is someone has asked to get a big chunk at 15p this time. This morning looks to be them getting frustrated at the lack of selling, seeing if anyone has 14p auto sell. The thing the MM don’t seem to get here is that the few PI’s left holding have already been through their first round of manipulation to work a buy. Maybe they have wind of potential news by the end of the week so the final push, like the summer the reversal should be equally as strong.

Spot on CRL, I read something recently that puts India on the expansion curve similar to where China was in the early 2000’s, we all know what happened there. My belief is oil demand is going to really catch people out, I have never understood how America adding what is means people have ignored the fact global demand is growing at a faster rate. Also as you say the underinvestment in new conventional oil will start to seriously bite early next year and this is with the oil complex working without any hiccups..... It is bonkers people are not taking advantage of these prices while they work the bigger order but that is how the markets work. We will see another big jump in TRIN very shortly and no doubt as new posters arrive they will be happy to buy in at much higher prices as the potential will be more obvious then.

Looks like the US is set for some pretty harsh weather going forward. Thought I would check the weather models and in the new year they are predicting a frost in Florida... Looks to me like this move in WTI sets us up nicely to push into the $60 where we could get caught. Depends if the US has a harsh winter and the oil drawdown accelerates.

Hang in there CRL, it is a good sign they are working a buy for someone. With oil soldiering on the Market will have to wake up to TRIN sooner rather than later regardless of tax restructuring. However would be great if T&T pull their finger out so the oil companies can hit the ground running in 2018.

CERP at £45m MCAP, can’t be many days left of bargain basement TRIN.

Yes, still think oil will surprise to the upside next year. We may get a bit of turbulence in the new year when we battle the chart resistance around $60 but beyond that it could quickly get into the $80s.
