I didn't want to jump into gloating yesterday and you can see why - the rise was related to speculation and now the CEO denies there is a takeover bid in and the results are what is expected - as stated previously this can go anywhere but probably is just about as good as it will get for a while IMO of course.

Sorry DAN - i'm in here and I really don't know - IMO this could go anyway or stay where it is - experts are divided -if there is an upshot when the results are released on 19th, I don't see it going above 2000 but if it hits 2000 I would be delighted as I have kept the faith from drop last year. I hope they're good for you but I sold out of these a couple of weeks ago at 2000 - it has been a resistance for them for some time - but good luck anyways.

Would it be fair to say that RIo's strategy of high iron ore production is to drive smaller producers (i.e their competitors out of business) because the smaller producers have higher costs hence breaking their smaller competitors and benefiting when the smaller ones are out of business or is there any other possible reason?

I just cant read this share - have been riding this out with this share - waiting for a recovery because there is a lot to quite like about this company. I was caught with the drop in SP late last year but bought in as price fell and am sticking with it until it recovers. But what I just cant get is why this drops further as oil prices rise - you would think that it would be the other way around -cannot any one throw any light on this?

In here for a few - any clues to final results? - Plenty of broker optimism.

Hi there folks - as stated last week - this has momentum and will continue to rise - get on board if you can.

Just my opinion - in here big time - of course there are going to be retraces but this is a breakthrough - the experts are telling us

I agree -ex div tomorrow cant rise this share - very bearish - I suppose this time of year the bear does wake up from its hibernation and it very cross. Hang on to your hats if you haven taken them off already.
