Well there you go. Now looking at how low this goes before maybe buying back. But RR is where the money is at and indeed CEY just seems to disappoint .

@tornadotony - 50/50 - really am not sure so took some profit. I cant see the Fed raising interest rates just now but 50/50. Time will tell.

I took some profit at 107p this AM. I still have some shares but Cent often fails after promising. IMO this bank thing is bit overblown and gold will retrace again in the short term. Best a luck y’all and DYOR.

Absolutely agree. Bought another tranche today. The dips and low SPs are your friend. This share is so undervalued and my approach to the debt, well, we’ll see that lessened as the passengers are flying again; there’s always an angle. I hope I’m not being overconfident as still smiling re the punt on RR. If you know; you know but always, always DYOR but take care and IMO hold hold hold.

Results - No surprises EPS up, order book good, debt much the same but some loan paid off, commitment to dividend, but no dividend? DYOR

Hi Skindle, I see IAG as a good buying opportunity at its present price. There are a number of risks which are keeping its market price suppressed. ( fuel price, the war, possible Heathrow strike etc) but I have started buying here. It will IMO turn up.. I have been lucky with RR and you can read my dated posts on that company share chat. Things do and will pick up.
Of course DYOR and take care.

Interested, may correct a bit. One fund group at least shorting it whenI last checked. Some risk with fuel prices, flying numbers and debt. Still comes down to what you forecast - the war, Covid etc or recovery - all about belief and timing. Good luck- DYOR etc.

Fundamentals, earnings etc great but It is well cited that record profits are forecast to decline over the next three years. Some shorting.So what’s the plan here. Anyone holding?

@mrtibbles Than you for your reply and courtesy. I have absolutely no problem with open debate on any forum and would encourage it.
My concern here is with the possible conflation of ongoing events. I also have little time for the romanticism of any wars though am able on occasion to understand some wars on utilitarian grounds etc.
Regarding Northern Ireland and the gift comment.
The DUP constitutes less than 21% of the electorate vote in Northern Ireland. They supported Brexit which they knew removed the very foundation of peace and acceptance of a status quo among the majority of people on the island of Ireland. ( A status quo by the way which left NI as part of the UK). Most NI people voted not to leave the EU as most understood it and the consequences. The DUP now bring down Stormont yet this is the parliament they support . They argue that is what the “other side” did previously over another matter but the other side don’t support Stormont on a longterm existential basis. Like Turkeys the DUP voted for their Christmas and it astounds me how little the British media and public understand this. In my opinion Sunak should not be held to ransom by a minority in NI or the UK for that matter. Boris and his like bring his narcissism to this either out of ignorance or malice, but which ever it is - it is to serve his own ends.
