"Meanwhile, Micro Focus International was up 7.9% at 2,273.00 pence in the FTSE 100. The software firm said it has returned around GBP386.1 million to shareholders via a share scheme as it completed its USD8.80 billion reverse takeover of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co's software arm.
Micro Focus completed the reverse takeover of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and as previously set out, Chris Hsu will now become chief executive officer of Micro Focus. Hsu was previously executive vice president and general manager of HPE Software, and chief operating officer at HPE. Micro Focus CEO Stephen Murdoch has stepped down from the role, taking up the position of COO.
The group returned 168.03 pence for each existing ordinary share held under the scheme as of Thursday 1800 BST. Shares closed down at 2,273.00p on Thursday but fell to a low of 2,161.00p during after hours trade."
