Innova’s chief executive, told the Guardian that his company was dispatching about 4.5m tests a day to the UK before Christmas, and anticipated it would be scaling this up to 15m a day by the end of January.

I think they are getting them elsewhere at the moment

@Bushmaster: The point was that the Company are quite happy to promote the SP when it suits them, but then some are saying the contents of the RNS was in someway Colin's way of protecting investors, because he cares about them so much

For those screaming about "honest Colin", be very careful to read the wording and contents of Tweets and RNS.

ODX is always careful to state capacity figures, because thats what we do we manufacture for others. There are only two instances that ODX have stated the "Will be delivering tests" in April

And while this was being stated a majority of the BoD were offloading shares.

@Shelly71, It would be nice if honest Colin would be upfront on the status of the Tech Transfer, we get all on track, then we get taking longer than expected, well which one is it ?

May has never been communicated by ODX, May was mentioned in the latest Government news release for UK capacity from ODX and GAD, ODX have always maintained they are raising "Capacity" to 2M a week at the end of April.

If we get to the end of April and still no news on Tech Transfer ?, realistically how long can "in the new year" and still on track be accepted as genuine by everyone?

If we get to end of May with still no news on DHSC test selection?

@Nelsonthedog: Only the company will know what the actual day to day activities of its staff are, we do know that some are working on the Mologic Tech Transfer , some working on commissioning capacity for the expected government orders.

We do know they aren't making Antigen test yet, anything else is just speculation until the company issue an update.

We don't know the engagement details of the additional staff (permanent, contract, fixed term), but we know the government have made a big deal out of the additional jobs the contract has generated, I therefore expect the £50M minimum figure in the contract to be part of ODX protecting itself with regards the additional expenditure it has taken on.

If you speak to Wallbrook, you will find that they are as frustrated at the news feed from Omega as many others, they just publish news as its released from the company.

Well yes and no really, If you ask Walbrook directly they will tell you that ODX have certainly not been sat on their hands, they have been readying capacity for the anticipated demand, but as yet due to the ongoing Tech Transfer and the lack of a DHSC selected test, they aren't actively producing tests in any great number.

£374M is the estimated maximum contract worth for providing the manufacturing capacity over the lifetime of the contract.

100M test is just your guess, no one has stated that the manufacturing demand has been split 50/50 between us and GAD

Gross profit 50%, no one has stated what the margins on the contract will be, only that ODX are happy with the agreement.

@Harley64, Unfortunately we have seen the "provide manufacturing capacity for up to" statement before with ODX, only for them to fall short and deliver sod all. Manufacturing capacity means nothing if we don't get the supply orders to go with it.

We are a diagnostics company that made a loss in the first year of a global pandemic, says a lot about the companies ability to turn opportunity into reward, so the markets and investors are nervous to jump in, until we have a test we can actually ship what value do we have in the covid division?

Lets ignore the DHSC contract for a moment, we started Tech Transfer of an Antigen test, before this country entered a second wave of the pandemic, we have seen daily reported infection rates rise to 60K per day and back now to just over 5K, and we still haven't got one Antigen test out of the door, you cant blame the government for that surely.

I have queried this with walbrook, at the present time no capacity is being used for the government contract, they arent producing as they haven’t been notified of which test has been selected yet
