@gkb47 : Unlikely to affect ODX as this is for lab testing, LFT antibody testing is still under review for this work

The finger prick antibody test (lateral flow test) is currently being verified in Wales to make sure it performs well. It is anticipated that this work will be completed shortly. There is also work ongoing to decide if this type of test could be suitable for use at home. We will provide more detail on the development of this type of test as work progresses.

@Gridz: The uk government have bought between 800M-1B innova tests to date, thats a big old pile to work through.

I don't think he is an oaf, i just think he is way out of his depth, he would be more suited to running a repair shop, where business arrives at his door in a steady stream, with a company that needs to push itself in a crowded market he and his team seem to flounder at every stage.

He obviously doesn't have a handle on the need to deliver to market on time in order to make the most of opportunities.

A thoroughly decent guy, perhaps more suited to being a lolipop lady.

@upomega: i think the government have been very careful to ensure the tests should be interchangeable, and just badged as the NHS test, even to a point the companies such as AVacta were advised to drop the saliva test

That sums up the issue, the innova test is all over the country , and the lesser spotted Mologic test is nowhere to be seen
