So these are the current choice the government have, we have had no update on any test from Mologic, Avacta, Vatic entering the pipeline

@DaProphet, i think Colin doesnt know what he wants with the share price, he changes like the wind, ramping on twitter, deramping via RNS, perhaps he should just concentrate on securing some actual sales, and let the share price take care of itself, we wait to see whether his promise of delivering 2M a week this month will actually happen, or whether we will see more delays into may or beyond

@DaProphet, well some do say Colin is one in a million, i don't know of any other CEO that would intentionally hold back his companies share price, just so he can give us the opportunity to buy more at a lower price,

@Korda, this was always going to happen as case numbers reduced and the need to track new variants via genome sequencing grows, especially as they have already sunk billions into Dildo Hardings shambles of lighthouse labs

@upomega, it could do, but i fear not much will happen with that until covid is under control, and that looks to be a fare way off in the areas where the CD4 testing demand is expected from.

@Bedhead, we all hope to see DHSC purchase orders rolling for a sovereign test made in the uk by Omega, but there are a lot if things that need to fall into place before that becomes a reality.

At the moment we have a contract to manufacture for a client that doesn't actually know what the want us to make, have given us no minimum volume and no guarantee of orders, and they still have a massive stockpile of a competitors product to burn through.

I would like very much to see supply contracts for the visitect brand, but ODX aren’t historically good at making sales when it matters, especially in what is now a crowed market, if Mologic is selected for the sovereign test, that will give us an edge in the marketing (as its the same test in a different box), if it isnt selected i fear we will struggle to secure much demand

It is reported that innova’s distributer in the uk reported cash reserves of just £89 in 2019, but our government was still happy to give them numerous contracts now exceeding £1B

We are recommending the swab is used and the sample taken in a different way to the instructions for use, with more rotation of the swab at a lower level of penetration, to enable easier self-administration of the test. This is based on advice from experts. The manufacturer has been informed of the planned use of the tests for self-administered asymptomatic staff testing within the NHS and trusts have been asked to provide a local support package to include staff access to a helpline/further training and, if deemed necessary, on-site training arrangements. It is recommended that staff are observed by a trained healthcare colleague the first time they administer the test.

I dont think they will purchase anymore if they can avoid it, but sure they will do if it suits their immediate needs

@upomega, in reality the million dollar (374m) question is how long the stock of 380m innova tests will take to deplete, i cant understand why we havent heard anything about PHE submission of the Mologic test for validation, surely Omega should be taking this action independently to support the Visitect brand, even if the DHSC are sitting on their hands, when i asked Walkbrook about them validating the test , they said they were not looking to do so.

Thats a lot of tests to get through, no wonder the DHSC looks to be in no rush to select a sovereign test.

Wouldn't it be nice ..... If Colin selected one day in April (any day not fussy) and actually released a breakdown of where he was delivering 2M test to and of what type.

At lease then we could forgive him for his ramping tweets before his cronies sold out

We securing a contract for a product but we don't know which one yet, there is no minimum volume and no guarantee of orders and people are asking why we are 20% down since the announcement. We still haven't completed Tech Transfer and god knows how much longer that will take and how long the TT will take if the Mologic test isn't selected. We don't even know if the Mologic test has been submitted for PHE testing yet, you would think ODX would show some interest in that for its Visitect offering but it appears not !

Meanwhile Innova have been shipping 15M tests a day, so the government is in no hurry.
