@Wadogra: It's you that are full of it, If you consider the DHSC lemon of a contract then the official figures are there in black and white, and like it or not they explain why the DHSC are in no urgent rush to order any tests from ODX.

Yes there is likely to be an increase in demand from the independent/private route, but ODX have yet failed to secure any sales or even a distribution agreement in that channel, and the slow regulator engagement means they have given up any early to market advantage they had.

If you look at the graph (Page 3)probably the average between may and now is between 4 and 5 millions, but the trend is pretty flat

So less than 4M per week with a stock pile of 325M = Nearly 2 years supply !!!!

I have stated before my belief the DHSC contract was basically worthless and a publicity gimmick from bugger-up Bethnell and the other government cronies, Unfortunately ODX have delayed the regulator engagement for Visitect by many months and now they are struggling to get approvals from overstretched authorities.

We wait ........

@Gman753 : We know (if you believe what comes from ODX) they have completed the install and commissioning of the DHSC facilities & equipment (with Toyota's help). We also know (if you believe what comes from ODX) is that they are waiting for the necessary IP to be selected and assigned from the DHSC.

... But it also states that the Supplier will use the IP licensed to the supplier from the authority when a suitable test developer has be identified.

So a bit of a confusing sh i t show really

Supplier being ODX !

That doesn't align with what we have been told by the company ?

There is nothing more scary than realising that the company is confused and lurching from one crisis to another.

Surely its now time for the company to come clean and set out exactly what the position is, It looks like they have misrepresented the situation with regards to securing approval for a test, whether on purpose or through incompetence.

@Greg22 : "ODX are not making their own test. They are making the test which is approved from a company who does not have the capacity to manufacture a test. ODX haven't sold a test as they aren't theirs to sell. ODX isn't waiting on approval but the company they will be working with to manufacture their approved device is and then they can pass it along to Colin to make."

That makes no sense from what we have seen from the company or the DHSC, The DHSC seem in no hurry or under any obligation to select an approved test, they have put Colin in touch with companies that have an approved test, and they have stated that until ODX have an approved test available they cant move the contract to phase 2.

So it appears that the DHSC are looking for ODX to come back to them with an independently negotiated agreement to manufacture an approved test (that could be Mologic or someone else) before they request the use of the manufacturing capacity to supply them (and in doing so start to reimburse the pre-payment). Not as Colin has stated that ODX are waiting for the DHSC to negotiate with third party for the use of their approved IP.

Surely Colin hasn't made such a balls up of it that it appears !!!

@Okehurst1: Possibly, but it's always been strange the way Colin has eluded that the DHSC have put him it touch with companies that had approved tests, rather than just saying this is the test we want you to manufacture.
