Great report by ADVFN worth taking a look....this is the time to buy with expected growth I got in at the low£1.30s and called strong buy then have a look at my posts .....I feel it s an even stronger buy now.....and am starting to think the dividend may be safe, or only cut by a small amount I agree with most that debt is an issue but there free cash flow is starting to rise and debt is cheap as chips at the moment £1.45 is I expect very soon and if that breaks who knows....

Anyone know when our next batch of news is due ? think we could do with some to get the SP out this range....its almost boring now.....but regardless I will hold till we get full value, in my opinion is some way off yet....GLA

Not sure how they managed that with all thats going on but that re negotiation certainly looks favourable.....I think this is what our CEO is good at......and maybe should employ others to sort the oil.....lol

Pdub I can second that.....my experience was absolutely first class, not just my treatment but everything start to finish....and I will fight the corner for the NHS any time... yes an organisation of that size is always going to have its problems and pit falls....I get very angry at people complaining about the NHS I know its not completely free but in comparison to private health care its as good as free....G/L

This company has over 6 Billion in cash swashing about and I think it is the best run company in its sector....yes we will see a slow down and so well the rest but a pound to a penny says IAG will still be sitting on top....its a very strong buy for me with a handsome divi to boot.......

Im quite happy with short term SP fluctuations and if we do see any significant drop over the next few weeks I will by buying and adding to my already quite high holding (FOR AIM) GLA

That was a very very smart move by Read.....this man is just what VOD needs he knows finance and the markets inside out.....

How the hell is this still above a penny?

I think we are due an influx of very good news soon and I expect the SP to go north by a fair bit but all this "it should be £ 2.00" "it should be £4.00" I am afraid is pie in the sky at the moment even with the news to come I dont really expect more than a 20 or 30% rise TBH ill be happy with that....I do expect a much much higher SP in say 2 to 3 years and yes maybe £2 or £3 I have been here well over 5 years and have had a great run from my original buy in although ive averaged up since. GLA

Well ant say I fully understand that and it all looks very complicated ....I am sure our new man knows what he is doing and I have every faith in him, and it looks like he is trying to mitigate SP fluctuation long term this looks good for VOD and now seems the divi may not be slashed as heavy as some thought? who knows?

I said on the day of the last RNS that it would finish blue....I was wrong but hey, not by much......onwards and upwards from here.....

Very good results on the whole.... wished I would have bought yesterday now.....but wanted to see the results...HIND SIGHT hey.....should see a nice rise....

Oh and a P/E of under 7 ???????the pull back was probably due to forward looking at 2019 but what an opportunity to get in through the back door thats 6.3 billion in cash a progressive dividend and a P/E under 7......show me another company that can match that........

This has to be a huge buy.......swashing about with 6.3 billion in cash and a progressive dividend.....huge buy....

I feel it is still a great buy at this price......its nigh on impossible to call the bottom but I think we are near it.....GLA
