Another bunch of lying scumbag's , they don't even have the decency to give us an update. They have taken the 3 million+ and done a runner.
Dumbly Yes it would make a change to get the truth from our politicians not just vote counting. How can importing O&G be beneficial to the UK when we have plenty of our own to find/extract with better controls on pollution flaring job safety and security, the list is endless of reasons to keep our own industries working.
Nail on head is all i can say Dumbly , i wish we had a highly recommend option. Politicians need to be held accountable for the destruction of another industry when all over the world energy security is needed more than ever.
Personally i think they have done a runner with our cash , why so long with no information. I have asked Barclays to look into the matter. Does anybody have any contact details so i can send and enquiry email.
News is headline news until it isn't , social media gone mad and politicians using every tool to get votes. Time for a big change in how we run the UK that needs real leadership that might last longer than 4/5 years and why do we not have adequate storage for Gas so that we all might benefit from winter/summer price volatility.
JL well my horse didn't even finish ( Stattler), about sums up my luck. Never again he says until next month and the GN .
Bought in here again Friday , only small but still a position for the Cascades drilling results. ATB
romaron I am not as articulate as you and would struggle to send coherent emails to Linda, but i have for a long time thought why do the E&P company's not start to collaborate and object to the wholly one sided barrage of condemnation towards hydrocarbons approach from our vote counting politicians. If this is aloud to continue they will damage this industry in the UK forever at a time when we need Energy security. If we get another prolonged spell of windless weather like we experienced last summer over the winter i fear this country will be in a dire situation, how is importing gas cheaper than our own production never mind the transporting costs to the environment.
The wind is not guaranteed and we were very lucky to have a comparatively mild winter 2022/23
Add in a sneaky acquisition for a distressed producer ( very likely in this financial environment ) and we might just come out of this with a real investment , not a micky mouse play thing for the shorters.

"Thanks to our robust balance sheet, we enter 2023 well-placed to deliver on our strategy of building a global diverse oil and gas company. We will continue to return any excess capital to shareholders while investing in our existing portfolio and maintaining capacity for meaningful but disciplined M&A."
The West need's energy security and it is about time our politicians informed the public we are not BP. Shell with huge profits. The WFT is lopsided and not workable at below £75 oil especially with the current inflation for small/mid size E&P company's IMO
