So, Intellismart are laying 3000 meters every day, and they don't have Comms making them smart. They have CC signed with a key MOU, and they are not using them to make 3000 meters a day smart.
UK rollout is only concentrating on easy targets, but nobody knows where that information came from. ( Given CC's solution is supposedly so easy to apply, where is the sense anyway? )

It all boils down to same thing. Installs progressing, at decent speeds now, and CC involved in none. Simples.

India is running exactly as UK. CC might see a slightly higher uptake there, but essentially 1-3% will be upper and lower both UK and India. I still have not found a UK engineer that has needed anything other than standard Comms Tech to get a unit talking, and none are aware of avoiding areas, or buildings, where it would slow down the process. Can anyone here post a link to where this information has been confirmed?
1-3% is my estimate only, but JC is getting lower by the month so I expect similar from him sometime. Intellismart clearly have their own Comms that will address the volume market, as do UK contractors.

Just for info, and maybe DYOR, but Intellismart have been installing around 3000 meters per day for months now. We know CC are not inside any of them, and they are smart, so what do you think is happening?

As for another Comms solution, that will provide required SLA's, the new President of Global Sales & Business Development at CyanConnode knows one very very well.
There are also Two giants. One from North America, and another from Central Europe. Only time will tell.

I doubt they will even have tenders ready in 5-8 weeks. Once the approved suppliers are known, it will be a good 2-3 months of tender process, reverse tenders, sealed bids and every other slanted system you can think of. This is probably going to hang out for 4-5 months easily. 250 million by end of next year? Come Summer, they will have been talking about it for half of the rollout time.

If there is no competition, why would JC now start lowering the expected target to 7.5%. It's the first time he has uttered anything that low, and think it may show he is finally seeing what comes next. The model may become clear with a first volume contract. That needs to be a decent Seven figure number, not a small Six that has been their market so far.

Given this, their valuation should be nearer £880m than £88m. As it isn't, I suspect Hardman have researched less than you have!

Hardman research are unaware of other providers that currently meet the Indian SLA criteria. That's how in depth their research is.
"The analysis produces an implied fair enterprise value of £88.4m" Inside 2 months someone has to come out of the woodwork and provide a Comms solution, that has not yet been seen, against one only CC currently offers. And they value CC at £88m. How can anyone take these Jokers seriously.

Seriously, the desperation to ram a square peg here is comical. CC found a new supplier, how that excites some here really sums up just how desperate they are becoming.
LTI has also confirmed SEW probably have their own volume Comms solution, and SS PLC are wining contracts to supply.

Correct indeed tonyj, well done.
The reason they were so cheap was India didn't want stacks of standards, or all the Bells and Whistles that others could supply. JC knew exactly what they wanted, until he realised he was completely wrong, and they wanted everything.

I know you struggle with numbers, but will give it a go. How many chips do you think CC will get for $2.1 million?
Bare in mind the ratio you keep banging on about 1m units = £20m.
Have a proper think, even you must be able to work out roughly how many chip units will be supplied on this?

Confirmation, if ever needed, volume market is covered elsewhere.
With the size of this contract value, and proposed delivery timeline, it fits about right with true expected % uptake here and India. Small, Bespoke Niche...... DYOR.
