I know it's hard to take but there is no way CC will be supplying these contracts without an RNS. Things never have, and never will work like that. CC did land business there, as we know, but that contract was stopped in its tracks soon after proof of concept started. CC will never explain why, JC had the chance at Q&A and chose to flap around it, so own conclusions should be trusted.

Intellismart have published their newest newsletter. They are very upbeat regards the MOU they signed with IIT Delhi and how they will evolve the new age, real time comms capabilities of AMI. Didn't they already have an MOU with someone who supposedly does that?

Well, they are currently installing over 2000 meters a day. CC would have had to RNS that if involved, as it will be new business and SP sensitive.

The rollout has begun, Intellismart claim to have installed 2 million meters under eesl projects to October 2021. As we know, CC involvement is zero. The Assam contract is now being thrashed, huge unknown if CC will be required. One piece of info I have not seen, and is the CC solution sweet spot, states regards Smart Meter location install 'Exceptions are areas without a communication network where the state regulatory commission may permit installation of standard prepayment meters'

Bid submission date was extended to 20/12/21 to accommodate a number of bidders being faced with 'technical glitches'. One can only imagine what that actually means in India lol.
Anyhow, the Bid Opening date got extended many times, the last date was 29/12 so can only assume that date has stuck and bids are now in from all, including those facing the glitches. Going by JC's own India contract timelines, a bidder might see an order placed by about Easter. That's Easter 2022 or 23, to give them a bit of time, they're only losing about $2.5 Billion every month after all.
