The company could break from tradition and actually tell the market what is going on. They know, they can, but they won't. Are India now seeing what Bangla, Iran and Ukraine all saw? Is this being forced down to one of the huge corporates that have sat by, knowing where it ends? When this goes, it will need deep pockets, and speed of volume. CC have neither. And tonyj, when power gets to a dwelling that hasn't had the luxury before, the occupants will not rush out to by a Plasma and Tesla. No idea what world you live in.

Given the India joke continues. Why would they, or any nation, be daft enough to put the Comms aspect of their Smart rollout in the hands of a company that hasn't even had the cost controls for 20 years to trade a profit? That said, India and Cyanconnode are the perfect match, both clueless.

Given CC only have 10% of the installed Indian market, and they are showcase projects, these issues must only be apparent in the other 90%. Looks like CC are the only workable solution out there, and will be the Comms 'go to' for all India Smart.

'CyanConnode believes' tells nothing of fact. Maybe ask CC for the report that leads them 'to believe' this is the case, because I have been looking for months and cannot find one. I also cannot find an engineer that has needed use of a CC unit, and they are installing in EVERY location you can think of.

Sorry LTI. But, unlike you, I don't take another tiny pilot as a meaningful update.

The only smokescreen with no answers concerning the UK contract is from CC old chum. Ask the questions, see how quickly you will get shut down.
As for PEA. I love the imaginary talks JC has had over the years. Funniest was when he went to see Irans Supreme Leader, remember that? Not sure who he saw, or what round table for one they gave him, but they cancelled the contract soon after. He's been having imaginary talks with Bangladesh too, since they cancelled his next biggest contract.

If you can't DYOR I will give you this. CC might stand a chance in supplying PEA if their in house Comms cannot reach every corner. As with every other company involved in their own volume rollouts, PEA will have other options for this, but CC could have a chance at the 1% or 2% problem areas. So, do they stand a chance? yes. Are CC inside the Itron meters, according to Pedro, yes. That then takes CC into the volume arena in Thailand. ALL that's needed is confirmation, and Pedro is working on that now : )

Simple facts, Ukraine, Iran & Bangladesh ..... 3 major contracts lost within weeks of winning. CC sit in silence. Just like their insistence on silence regarding UK. It will come out when they are good and ready.
