What is going on here is big money at work.

This won't be popular, and I hope I'm wrong but I think all the people who believe they have been buying a bargain over the last couple of days are going to see what a bargain really looks like by the time this drop stops.

There were warning signs, this isn't all about revised forecasts.

Doozer - I have a couple of small interests in A.I. but I view it very much like you do. I'm sure there may be situations where it is brilliant but in some cases it will fail miserably.

Lee1235 - Interesting to hear you say you use A.I. Have you asked it what usually happens to a share just before good news is expected ? I know what you mean about what you read on here but most people must have expected good news, so maybe the writing was on the wall.

That's the way to do it, right time right place.

Those figures must be somewhere near right but somebody hasn't finished kicking us yet so you may have to revise them.

Max19 - this drop didn't start on the A.I.M.

3-1 ? But still down, it's telling a story, not sure what story. Prior to this week I thought maybe a slight increase on Q2 results and would have like a gentle rise from there, at no point did I see the silly figures being thrown around coming to fruition in the near term, although I would have been happy to be wrong. Despite there being some people on here who are clearly more comfortable than me money wise, the real wealth and power lies with whoever turned from what was perceived by most here to be a racing certainty into another 10p down today. The reality that this may not just be about revised figures seems to be starting to dawn on some, with that in mind it should be considered that this may not be the low point. Talk has started on here about takeovers and figures that wouldn't be acceptable, it also needs to be remembered that people involved in facilitating takeovers have very deep pockets, people on here who think they are wealthy are in fact poor by comparison, our thoughts wouldn't be considered.

I was going to say it's funny but it is actually quite worrying and equally sad that I have been saying that we are in the hands of the market whatever we might think we have, and then 2 people whom I regard as respected posters say the word 'Orchestrated'. If anyone believes that then they have to admit that it could happen again, so too much optimism is not good for their pocket. That's not negative that's realism. BTW I see the abuse continues, but don't worry that's just people who are frightened because they got in deeper than they could afford.

Orchestrated ? I have been trying not to say that, but if it were the case it would make my comment yesterday more valid. I did say something like there were answers to be found that might not be found in the obvious places. The market dictates without care for how much gold we have, the question is:- If your views are correct, what or who made it's decision? I don't know much about the coming event but I doubt the answers will be found there.

Buffa - I mean what Element has just said, currently the A.I.M. & ASX, as I have said before I am not Warren Buffet, I am happy to be wrong, and probably am a lot of the time but I do expect a reply like yours not a pile of abuse from some others. One thing holds true here, all shareholders are currently sitting on a large unexpected loss this week which just shows that people like me are not anymore disadvantaged than those that are rude to people, and are shouting about buying more at a low price. Thanks for your response, good to see that you don't sink to insults if you don't agree with someone.

CheekyChops1 - Yes, it works both ways, I have never posted comments like that, and wouldn't without very good reason.

CheekyChops1 - Point taken. I just find it so frustrating that this board has a wealth of knowledge that I started to enjoy reading and trying to learn from and then grown men turned into, I was going to say children but my grandchildren and their friends don't behave that way. Filtering someone just because they don't agree with you stops this board being for discussion, and just a place where a group of people who have just lost a lot of money can cry on each others shoulders whilst still pretending it hasn't happened.

Kent_Man - A very valid point which again shows whatever some know about gold or mining the market will always dictate the SP. I think anyone who thought that people on the ASX would operate any differently have made a misjudgement. (See what I did there, a differing opinion without filtering or abuse). Easy, some should try it.

Jptop7 - good to see someone not quoting silly figures.

Doozer77 - There you have it, that is exactly what is required. Things go up, things go down, but I only saw a couple of people on here who forecast a drop and they suffered abuse for it, and still people on here are talking as if it will be all sorted soon and nothing can go wrong. Yes we still have the gold but we are still at the mercy of the market. On the A.I.M. big fish small market, at the moment on ASX it is the other way around and all the dreamers won't change that. As you say, humility.

Not every comment that is different to yours talks of hopes for everyone to lose money, but any comment that isn't positive is far too often met with abuse, and if you look back far enough, offers to meet up with threats of violence. Are you seriously telling me that is OK ?

MattyBoy1965 - I hope it comes good for all of us, but you have also backed up my point, only positive and over the top opinions are welcome here, some would rather go down with the ship than admit they may be wrong. I don't know where this will head but I wish some people on here would accept that others are entitled to an opposing view.
