Interesting to see that amongst all the bickering and insults that the topic has still basically been the same all morning, not much mention of the drop being due to revised figures that were the focus of attention yesterday, amazing how things change when people start to think a little instead of posting in blind panic.

SC, I hope I have been perfectly clear in any posts on here. I am no Warren Buffet, and know little about gold. I used to only watch on here, but yesterday in particular I posted many times to hammer home a point that I didn't think it took a genius to start to think that the market had overreacted to revised figures. I could well be wrong but can anyone on here claim to be right 100% of the time. For my efforts I got the usual responses from some, by the end of the day the whole board had changed direction and today is exploring another possibility, all I am pleased to say being discussed in a sensible manner.

I am not one of the people that someone I won't name, (they can do that) said turns up when the SP drops, causes trouble and disappears.

I am not a softie, I have worked with all sorts of people in my life but I do not think people would so brave with their insults in a face to face situation.

When I said earlier that I thought heads would eventually be pulled from backsides I had in no way suggested or even considered that the company might be at fault, and I don't personally think they are, but I took abuse for my view. Heads are definitely out and working overtime, and I hope views will be aired freely without people being abused or talk of green bins. Who knows how this will pan out, time will tell GLA

Acechaser - Good to see you have sense of humour, and thank you for your opinion, I appreciate it, I just can't stand all these people who aren't prepared to engage with others without insulting them.

Sorry, I didn't know that all the people on here who had all the insight had warned us all to sell last Friday and buy back after the drop. I did indeed say that I don't know mining, however that doesn't seem to have disadvantaged me given the situation. But so far today I have unlike some, not hurled abuse at anyone, not rubbed anyones nose in this by boasting about buying on the dip, not talked stupid rubbish about £4 by Friday. What I have said is that I don't think this is all down to a revised figure, people should not hurl insults at others with a different view to their own, and that eventually the people who are most worried about their losses would reveal themselves by behaving that way.

Over the course of the day, more and more decent people have posted their concerns that there might be an as yet unknown reason for the drop without resorting to abuse, maybe more should follow their lead. And no, it won't be £4 by Friday, if you like I too can trawl posts and expose the owners of that comment.

Balance sheet isn't helping the SP.

As I said the truth hurts. None so death as those that don't want to hear.

For anyone to suggest that the BOD will be going about their business as normal with this losing about 30% in a week seems unbelievable. It also doesn't sit well with me that people are being called scumbags, the majority didn't mind hearing '£4 by Friday' and '£6 by Christmas' and don't forget the top up in the dippers. It isn't opinions that some people don't like, it's opinions that don't align with there own. If this drop continues and that looks likely then this board will become even more unpleasant as the people who have invested far more than they could afford are revealed.

It's no use venting frustration and anger at people who say things you don't want to hear just because we are losing money.

Below is something someone said 3 weeks ago, it was as well received then as the truth is today. If people can't afford to lose money, they shouldn't gamble and then lash out at others.
