Very true and its like comparing apples with pears...mobileye supply a system that is quite a bit more unique and costly, hence their margin will be a lot higher.

Sure the guardian system with re-occuring revenue could match it but its not mass market like auto....could do well but with the overhead that see need to service, its not growing anywhere near fast enough.

Its suits the bod just fine as they would be hapoy to maintain the status quo nicely into retirement then sell their options....job done.

No need to buy any shares or look at different avenues that would create shareholder wealth....its not on the agenda.

Why should they bother holding shares when they are on million dollar salaries....their main objective is too make sure that money keeps coming in so they can keep collecting.

I said it 5 years ago even before pmg was appointed.....the founders have been very clever here and they soon got shot of mick when he wanted to alter things.

If your lucky, in 5 years time this share will still be hovering around the 7p mark.

If your unlucky then its goodnight eileen and you will get zero.

There's no need for the bod to purchase shares here, they have all but guarenteed the revenue here for the next 5 or 6 years and that will keep the lights on.....and as long as the lights are on they will keep their heads down and beaver away.

With that amount of cash the initial drop was harsh but its recovering now....they need time now.

So mobileye was founded in 1999 and is valued at 17b, which is largely considered a knockdown price in the current market conditions.

See was founded in 2000 and has a market cap of around 250m.....and the way the directors are pulling dough out of the company not much chance of maintaining it.

You lot need to wake up.....after 22 years they are supposed to be making you money, not the other way about.

And before anyone starts on about the inventors or founders, they forfeited any preferential rights they had when they floated.

I think you lot should pull your money together and pay for my flight to oz so i can have a word!!!

Stop ****ging off mobileye, the ipo was only for part of the business and they are a great company.

Fair enough, qc are a very realistic challenge to them but what should concern you more is that this is what happens in this business when there is no defining patented tech.

You have not missed or misunderstood anything but dont fall into the trap of believing its the truth.

He used the presentation to unwrap a couple of truths which they had strung shareholders along with for years because he knew attendee's would be blindsided by the magna deal.

They must be lapping it up in canberra but god knows what ii's must be making of it.

They have million dollar salaries and i would not even like to guess what some directors and presidents are on....what i can say is that gravy train will continue for years whether you like it or not and any decent profit for this company wont fall for another 5-6 years and thats where the inherent risk lays!

They are skating on thin ice and they know it but there is money to be made here at the expense of shareholders who believe this might be the next mobileye and can sell for 15b in 5 years:):):)

Sure, its a great tech and the market has turned in their favour but your not getting anything....the real decision makers are non plussed.

If they can survive without some damaging litigation they might have a chance by 2027 but it will take a long time before they reach a level that will justify their current market cap.

Wait it out if you feel like its worth the risk but the road is going to get a bit bumpy along the way imo!

I have ridden this wave with afc a few times now having first invested in 2010 and the subsequent failures over the years that followed.

Im actually of the thinking that they have nothing now. The power tower will sell some units but the market is nowwhere near ready for it so the volume it sells will be worth nothing more than chump change.

Abb will almost certainly drop afc at some point, they are moving on as we speak imo.

These posters who have sat on this boats 24 hours a day for the last 2 years amd ramped the share from 70 to 18 do not have your best interests at heart.

And niether do the company, do you think these small director buys were done because they think the company is about to lift of....no, they have been done periodically to suggest the company os making progress when in actual fact they know full well that they are struggling.

When a ceo is misleading you, when a bod is misleading you and when a group of posters on a message board post 24/7 defending a failing company then you know there is something seriously wrong.

Dont get conned here.......you know who the biggest conman is, face the facts!
