The risk is that you are temporarily sold out of the stock and your broker has to obtain your holding to buy it into the ISA. Could be an issue on a stock in high demand depending on the size of the holding.

Sorry but your last two posts have totally confused me. In your original post you indicated that you didn't have an ISA! I think you need to speak to an Accountant rather than a chat board!

Stock, I'm no expert but you need to get your SAR into the protection of a S&S ISA ASAP! I did a few weeks back.

There is plenty of info on the net and there are limits to how much you can stash in your ISA. Your chosen broker will need to sell your holding and buy it into the new ISA. This is a tricky operation on a fast moving investment as you will need to get the best deal possible. EQI did mine and I can't fault the way they did it. You also pay commission on the deals.

Once the investment is in that ISA, you pay no CCT on your gains and you are free to withdraw your capital whenever you choose. If any of the price predictions for SAR come true, CCT will be a real issue for many holders!

There's no reason for the market to mind. Time was running out for the exercise and it seems a perfectly reasonable thing to do IMO. A lot of news is expected in the very short term.

Bearing in mind Covid is a fairly minor illness for many, I don't see a huge take up for a vaccine which is being rushed through. I believe that helping the minority who are made very ill by the virus by alleviating their symptoms, is the best way to proceed.

The bottom line is that the company is probably some years away from turning a profit and that begs the question, why would anyone invest here atm especially before the cash call?
My feeling is that there is a substantial body of shareholders who will leave as soon as this dead share shows any signs of waking up and the selling pressure will be overwhelming. Many have been here for ELEVEN LONG YEARS!!!!!

Sphinx, I assume you're being ironic. I think "transformational" was a word used by a previous CEO who is certainly transforming the share price over on SiS. I also note that my old friend Alf is stoutly defending the situation over there so it looks as if the poor man is flogging two dead horses which can't be helping his demeanor!

Gixer. I didn't say that but there are over 2 billion shares in issue at the moment so there will be many more millions issued to cover the cash calls.

Anyone care to guess the year bearing in mind the Chinese experiment is in very early stages? My guess is 2023 at the earliest by which time there will be billions and billions of shares in issue because the company has such a wage cost drag on it and will need to constantly raise funds to trade as a going concern. IMO, a DSM buy out is the only hope of shareholders getting some money back and one penny a share would be very welcome.

I hope shareholders will make their feelings known through proxy voting on 30 October, as the BOD have used Covid as an excuse not to face shareholders in person. Anyone who votes for the continuation of the CEO in office needs their heads examined! Could things be much worse? I detect meek acceptance but I refer to Valirx as an example of what can be done to rid a company of dead wood.

The plastic pots are a tacky, cheap mistake (temporary or not) with hard to remove tops. Blister packs are best and probably what most people prefer. Much more professional and not a pedantic point as you imply but another example of clueless management IMO.

Optimistic IMO. Why would anyone pay that when the company appear to be years away from profit and will need more cash next year. In fact, what is the investment case here bearing in mind the heavy dependence on success in China?

Interesting comparison here with the situation over at SAREUM where the seriously clever team entered into a salary deferment scheme pending future success of the Company. Also interesting to note the average annual income for someone running a corner shop with the same gross revenue as Provexis. You couldn't make it up. Placing maybe £0.0030p.

I raised this with Ian Ford some years ago particularly in relation to the Chinese market where all sorts of crazy pills & potions are made from endangered animals in the pursuit of the ultimate aphrodisiac.
