fen, after selling part of my holding for a decent profit after the licence issue, I was left with a modest holding which owes me an average of about 6/7p. My comments about RY and his journeys to the back of beyond, were to try and illustrate how a man in his mid to late 60's might want to have wrapped this up a while ago leaving a legacy of success and I'm sure that was his original intention. I note you are a late arrival to the party with plenty to say. Where have you been all these years?

My point is that this has been an exceptionally disappointing investment. How can it be described as anything else? I do believe that there will be some kind of JV or buy out in the next few years but I just want out. Had enough of smoke and mirrors.

I'm pleased to see how many others share my sentiments. I'm just looking for a spike to exit on. The next generation can reap the rewards of a working mine because it will be too late for me! Amur is a good example of the pointlessness of investing in the AIM and a classic case of why everyone should have sold out when the licence was issued and the decline ensued.

How long has RY been travelling from Canada to Amur? 10 years? 15 years? I hope the older ones among us get to see a benefit from this endless saga!

That's quite a hike in market capital for a company making losses and not likely to turn a profit until 2022! When the placing is announced, it could be a good time to buy a few, on the dip, for a speculative hold though.

I don't think many on here would agree to a takeover at much less than 25p a share.
