how long do you think it normally takes to get a diagnostic test to market, fully reliable, tested and tweaked, ready to go?
Its not 18 months, thats one clue. To shift it through in the time alloted, make changes that, allegedly, the UK govt wanted and still come out in 18months is pretty damn good.

You're all moaning because the cash isn't in your pocket and that's fair play. You chose to invest and they never promised you a return or a finalised time scale. There has been a few apporx ones banded around by AS, which were probably a bit misguided, but this is investing...not house building. Processes sometimes take longer .

you could probably list with the finger on one hand, the number of AIM companies with good comms.

Avacta are no different. Agreed, they should be. but they're not. The sooner people get to grips with that the better. It doesn't make it right, but you've bought into an AIM company, if you expect FTSE reporting maybe thats the place to go.

Market Makers have just figured out that this is a tradable share, they're just searching for buyers and sellers and if they have to move it down to get that to happen, they will. Thats what they are there for. They don't care if you have your life savings in Avacata, its irrelevant - they need trades to happen to make money from the spread. if there are no buyers it will keep going down....and the people selling are helping that...

Its investing and its Biotech, the two do not equal a straight line when it comes to share price. Add into that any shorting aspect and the share price line looks like bmy best drawing on an etchasketch.

Put your big boy pants on and stop looking at it every hour of every day. it will sort itself out when it news arrives one way or another.
Daily share price is irrelevant unless you're day trading(good luck to all who do, not my bag)

The DHSC are never going to admit a screw up, its too big. Thats why there is zero coverage on this.

Forget about the UK, there is a bigger world out there which, unfortunately, have much bigger covid issue than us.

I have no doubt at some point, if herd immunity doesn't work out - and it probably won't, Avacta's test will probably be adopted...especially when ROW is using but we aren't using our own...
