Being fair, market makers screw their own market.

They've run the prices on many stocks up and down so many times without justification for large drops, just greedy. At some point investors are going to ask the question why bother? When it's volatile but goes nowhere.

So called market makers, it would appear, couldn't make a bed. Shock drops and rises are meant to be on news, this team just do it to get transactions and earn their keep.

The problem is now, how do they create volume when interest has been lost in many quality stocks because of how they have run the market.
Common sense says that you'd want the price to go up to earn more on the spread...but they seem to leveraging in a channel. What happens when the channel is drained?? Down ?? Up??
They need to pull their act together

An announcement like this is a major milestone and they can't encourage a rise. Pretty pathetic tbh

Truly the best prepared, most relaxed interview I've seen him do. As long as we meet/exceed the current guidance, I don't see how the market can ignore this fro much longer. Painful few months but I think it will pay off.

Market is a bit of a sh*t show really.

Bid drops to increase the spread for them to earn more blow money. The Market is supposed to respond to demand and this one clearly doesn't. The brain surgeons that run the market don't seem to understand that their spread is worth more if the price increases as it should with overall buying or drop with overall selling.
The create big drops to try and drum up business and kickstart the retail market. II's just buy and leave it. Retail investors tend to respond to big drops and rises(most of which go nowehere). GGP is just being run up and down by the, and I use the term loosely, Market Makers. it generates trades and their comission. But it is just being run up and down, there won't be any movement until the next news point

There is a reason they are running a money market and aren't rocket scientists or Brain Surgeons....and when you let people like this run a money market, thats why it goes to sh*t.

@alphacomp I haven't but I can't use those. The system we are using is a home Automation system made by AMX, which is a bespoke language but it's not a PC or PCbased.I've written all of the drivers for the equipment anyway, it's not that big a deal doing that.

I'm working on a software project , to control and get data from all of the systems in the property. One of these is a VRFB made by Schmidt. I believe that, atthe minute, it's the5th or 6th largest VRFB in the UK.
Customer researched it and purchased everything himself and negotiated with local electricity board for the ability to do mini generation.
Everything in the property is electric. We are also using octopus energy"s API to find out when excess electricity is being given away, or sometimes they will pay you to take it, and we will be charging the battery at that point and selling to the grid at peak.
He reckons payback is about 4 years.but he has spent a lot on quality equipment; good UFH, mechanical ventilation, good solar panels, inductive waterheaters etc...

Its just LSE's interpretation. The spread is different to that shown so LSE interprets it wrongly.

I have all these green boxes and virtually no chat, something isn't right. Maybe all the 'concerned' mob have self filtered..

its because the spread isn't whats stated. Spread seems to be always really tight in the afternoon
