I guess it comes down to sentiment, if there's plenty of cash floating around and Bitcoin decides to go on a tear again, then these types of Penny shares tend to attract the gambling community who will buy anything Bitcoin related as long as they see a solid business and enough people are shilling it, this is how we get ridiculous evaluations and FOMO i.e. buy it because it's going up!

This is not fundamental and not a true value of the company so 5x is easily achievable, (obviously not guaranteed) if you look back on Coinsillium or similar types of stocks you will see these crazy evaluations all the time, just bear in mind that out of favour stocks can act the opposite way and can always go lower....

Agree, just see it as a buying opportunity due to the Macro environment, and the scaremongers out in force saying how a stock market crash is due! Although I'd say more of a correction as crashes tend to be unexpected or Black Swan events.

Great buy long term.

Anybody know if BT are potentially in discussions to take over Gamma Communications, I would speculate either BT or Vodafone or maybe Televonica? I believe they have several parties interested.

It's good to see some form of strategy as opposed to no strategy, the only thing I'm thinking is what are we actually investing in?

Before it was very much tokens appreciating in value which shifted the price up, however what with the last couple of years shenanigans with altcoins at their lowest price and a perceived declining interest, how much revenue is actually generated by Staking to make the share price go up, where is the real growth going to come from?

I binned it a while back, just don't really see a catalyst atm Crypto may recover one day and you could say the shares are cheap but when is that going to happen, you need Hype, excitement and progress, I'm not seeing any of this, with the high risk if there is no sign of anyone making big gains then what does the Crypto sector actually have to offer?

Might as well take the money it out and put it into another stock or a more favourable or even traditional sector like Healthcare, Defense or Utilities.

Just thought I'd check the message board of this amazing company, so do we all think the share price will be £10 by Christmas?! Seems like it's got a little way to go yet! 😂

The thing is what do you propose the BoD do? the whole Altcoin market is a mess full of gamblers degens and short termers, very few of them really care about the future potential of the coins they are invested in or even how much revenue (if any) they are creating.

It's all about pump and dump with Meme coins being rewarded the most, mostly everything else isn't really assigned any value.

The problem is if you're looking to make decent returns (especially this year) then you might as well just turn to small-caps or even medium-caps on the stock market given the recent volatility, apps like Robinhood and Trading 212 have made it easy, less risk and can still get crazy gains, who needs the Altcoin market.

Finally on the LSE. Let's see where KR1 goes from here.

Certainly not going to complain, the buys seem to correspond with the US market opening, not sure if that's just a coincidence.

That was also my initial reaction - KR1 bod are actually still alive and after months of tumbleweed, something is actually happening!...

I guess the biggest plus of the RNS is that they're getting some media attention as one of the first Crypto firms to list on the main market and will hopefully attract a bit more interest and liquidity.

They've obviously been planning this for a while, so looking with curiosity to see how it develops.

What are peoples thoughts on KR1s admission to the main market and proposed placing of new shares as in todays RNS, they seem to have a strategy, I'm just not sure where the shareholder value comes from or how to take this.

I don't own any alt-coins directly, they're not for me, but I do have a small position in KR1.

What are everyone’s thoughts on this Altcoin crash? Seems too big a reaction, very manipulated and co-ordinated.

The question is will it have a strong bounce or just be very volatile for the next couple of weeks or maybe longer with gradual recovery?

I had a small top up, mainly because they've shown that the company is still alive and they have shown a bit of a strategy plus I know they've been working hard to get this onto the main market, lets see where it goes.

I guess it would give us more liquidity plus it’s a crypto play on the LSE so I think they can really make a song and dance about this, it’s not to say the share price will immediately go up as Gamma communications went from AIM market to LSE recently and the share price dropped through the floor! Nothing changed about the company.

KR1 have been very quiet recently almost to the point of not existing so maybe we’ll get some life back!

Motley Fool - Its a great company, doing everything right and the share price keeps going up!.....but......we won't be investing as its too expensive at £1 😂

Wow people really are falling out of love of this share and dare I say it, this message board! I sold out a couple of months ago as everything including the Bod just came across as a bit slap dash and disorganised, not for me.

It seems everything needs a catalyst these days and Gamma don't really have one apart from being undervalued, I don't think share buybacks etc really have much affect on sentiment as proven by all the share buybacks over the last year.

Most of the low share price seems to be related to the slow growth in the UK and Europe and general perceived state of the economy.

I'm sure the big money investors see the company as undervalued, however that's just not good enough reason to invest in it.
