What is it with these morning dips in the share price?

I think the reality is retail aren't going to rush back into this after the chaos of the share price so my guess is it may find a bottom then sit there for a little while, they have Bitcoin but not really that much and with a lower share price it will be harder to raise the amount of funds required,

I guess the problem is the Bitcoin price is rising so requires more money to buy or if it falls drastically all the treasury funds start falling and has a knock on affect.

Just my opinion of course, I'll be watching from the side-lines, possibly a good long term play and even if the share price collapses, they've done pretty well out of the rise.

Well all the crazies seem to be dumping the BTC Treasury stocks, bit brutal really, although at least that means there may be a bit of money sitting on the sidelines looking for the next boom sector, people less likely to sell here as it's mostly tumbleweed!..

Wow these Treasury stocks really have become the new Altcoins and now appear to be heading the same way, well at least this one has a few bitcoin and some cash to fall back on, any suggestions as to the price this will settle on by the end of the week?

Remember Monday last week on the podcast Malcolm said 'Judge us in 2 weeks time!'

This is such a shame, it almost appears that they don't need shareholders, very little communication, lack of social media presence, just happy doing their own thing, making a nice little income through staking.

I sold out a while ago as just didn't see anything happening, I believe it was one of their RNS releases showing the NAV for the month where they had put the wrong date on it , just seemed like they had taken their eye off the ball.

It seems the Bitcoin treasury companies have become the new Altcoins, big gains, regulated, can buy in ISA etc, traditional share accounts.

@charley55 I hold COIN as I like the company history / strategy etc - think its got legs, but haven't looked at TIR? are they decent, not really interested in the others Companies as to me they just seem like random businesses buying Bitcoin! (daytrader specials!).

....and Vinanz / LON:BTC being shilled here as well!

Think I'll stick with COIN thanks, proven business and reputation, I would like to think Institutions will be aware of this when they buy in.

Seems similar to yesterday, could be a good buying opportunity? No US market today.

Seem to recall COINSILLIUM was pursuing something similar in making Bitcoin work for them, otherwise why not just invest in Bitcoin itself or Microstrategy, there needs to be a reason for people investing in the company long term.

You wonder if there's a lot of people out there watching their Alt's tread water and watching these Bitcoin treasury companies behave like the Altcoins of '21.

There must come a point in time where they say F@#: these Altcoins, lets go to treasury party!

Everyone should have their own strategy,

I remember Argo Blockchain in 2021 where I thought I was clever selling 50 percent after a 200% rise, it then went on to explode another 5x or so, never underestimate how high these stocks can go and how long they can go for, price goes up, more recognition and more institutions take notice plus bigger share price means more money for Bitcoin buying.

Unlike some other 'also rans' I actually believe Coinsillium has a much more convincing story - been in business for 10 years WITH A CRYPTO BUSINESS, clear strategy based on experience in the sector, great communication, building a social media presence and has a share name 'COIN' which I can easily remember, it could really be the one to invest in long term for the UK.

Then we maybe have money printing with an excess of cash to come.

Not to mention all the new novice investors who probably think they're buying Coinbase....

Bitcoin seems a decent price at the moment, wonder if we'll get a BTC update this afternoon maybe just as the US markets open?

Can't believe your broker wouldn't let you buy COIN? I'm invested and bought it through Barclays believe it or not who are generally quite conservative about what they let you buy, some nice gains recently and just announced today that their latest WRAP Retail offer was 400% oversubscribed and had to close early, crazy demand!
