Imagine if KR1 had a Bitcoin treasury and all the staking rewards were being used to purchase Bitcoin, Could have been a very different story!

I agree, I like their consistent approach, I also like the fact that they are buying bitcoin in a sensible way and not just making big purchases as quick as possible as we all know Bitcoin can be volatile and manipulated and there would be nothing worse than making a big purchase only for the Bitcoin price to fall back 10% a week later, looks good for a solid long term strategy with their experience in the sector.

I've got to admit, I don't really get SWC, I mean I understand they are purchasing and holding Bitcoin, however their main business is Web page design?

Nope don't get it, I'll stick with COIN, they have 10 years in the Crypto industry, it just seems like a better bet going forward and maybe a better story presented to institutions. Please correct me if I'm wrong? I guess time will tell...

@rylidan I think with James VS as an advisor they would have had a strong strategy and plan of how they will execute the Bitcoin buys, we don't know what is going on in the background so can only trust their judgement, I'd rather they focus on their strategy than spend time structuring an RNS just to keep shareholders happy.

I'm also invested here as I believe they could potentially get a lot of media attention, especially in the UK/Europe, however my concern is that there are a lot of companies starting to do the Bitcoin reserve thing now and we are a minnow in comparison so unsure the longevity of this strategy,.

The likes of Microstrategy will buy Bitcoin no matter whether the price is going up or down, however will these other companies new to a Bitcoin reserve have the same discipline once things start getting choppy, I'm expecting a bit of a rollercoaster.

It does feel a little like someone is trying to get the price of Bitcoin down atm but seems to be struggling, maybe the options expiry will pull it down!

I think Coinbase becoming part of the S&P 500 is very good for Crypto and Crypto exchanges as it gives a strong indication that Crypto really is here to stay bringing awareness to a larger crowd.

Coinbase was only formed in 2012 and now it's a $64 billion company.

Unfortunately it can come down just as fast!

I think the problem has always been liquidity on this one and Aquis exchange in general, it only takes one big buy to move the price substantially but then you try selling and there's a high probability chance you won't get the price you were expecting, plus we often have a high spread, which no doubt puts day traders off, however long term holders don't really benefit that much either due to lack of interest and a recently ever declining share price.

It's a shame as I believe its got a lot of potential and seems to be well run, I just see better and more consistent opportunities elsewhere.

I guess you never know, maybe it will shine again if the alt-market can gain momentum, I'll definitely keep an eye on it.
