Seems to be happening a lot lately, have a holding in Gamma Communications, was at a 5 yr low, posted good results and consistent growth, went up 16% then just collapsed, ending the day -5% and now even lower, a lot of investors just don’t see value any more, it’s all about short term money grab.

Well I guess if there is a big seller, they may have finished now otherwise they may as well have sold before the results as the share price is now even lower, makes you wonder why companies bother listing on the FTSE, just seems such a lack of interest.

I'd agree that from an investor perspective the world is much more global now, I remember only a few years ago I was investing with Barclays and the only stocks available were UK listed, now US and European markets are available for investment, which has opened up much more choice for mainstream investors, a good example might be ARM which is NASDAQ listed but based in the UK, only real difference for long term investors is having valuations in Dollars.

Nice to see a bit more interest coming through, just goes to show we are being watched from the sidelines.

Probably 57p and falling, that's the trouble with Crypto, a couple of days of gains then it all starts crashing down, I hate having to watch a share on a daily basis however if you close your eyes then open them again a month later you'll either be rocketing up or digging a hole in the ground.

yes I know people made multiples, one of those people was me, you could be right, it may happen again, however I myself will be watching by the sides lines this time, I've moved the last little bit of cash I had here, elsewhere.

Maybe keep an eye on the sector as a whole, share price movement from SWC and the big players like Metaplanet and Strategy etc.

I guess with the altcoin market really starting to show signs of coming alive it may be a case of do you risk leaving money here or just move on to something more in favour that's going up, there could just be better opportunities elsewhere atm, what if Bitcoin doesn't actually go much higher and this is where the money moves into altcoins. (short term of course, long term may be a different story).

Coinsilliums recent performance has enabled you to lose money multiple times and once short term investors in these types of penny shares have been burnt several times they just move on to something else.

I'm still a little cautious as its still August so still a lot of traders on hols or are away, however it does look like the US is heading for a rate cut in September which could really spark things off.

Good to see KR1 starting to wake up.

Could just be the markets playing games, quite a few crypto focused companies are down today, this usually ticks up once its finished with the snooze button...

Slightly off topic but same sector, I keep wondering whether I should be holding Melrose as well as Rolls given their recent results? Does anyone else hold this company and is it still good value given the recent rise? Cheers.

I guess people sell for different reasons although I’m not sure I would list diminishing US potential as they are investing $50 billion up until 2030 with the aim of producing the majority of US medicines there so I think the 15% tax you mention has been well thought about and already factored into the share price, I’m more of the opinion that it’s the UK market, the FTSE has gone sideways for years and every year more companies move to other markets, AZN may go the same way unless something changes.

I do feel like the share price has been going sideways for the last 3 years when you look at the average, I wonder if the result woudl be the same if the main listing was in the US? Soriot seems to be getting frustrated with the share price, especially since the company is constantly announcing good news yet the price doesn't seem to change much.

Playtime, sounds siimilar to me, I got in early, watched it rise to stratospheric heights then frantically sold when it started crashing down, did pretty well but then bought in again with a smaller amount at around 20p which I sold when that started falling and hit a stop loss, I now have a small position from around 7p so will sit on that for a while.

For me, this comes down to FOMO and being a bit too keen to jump in again, a bit too attached to the share, rather than just sitting it out or moving on elsewhere, thinking logically,

I believe Coin could do well long term as I like the story and they appear to do what they say they will which is what really matters for these smaller companies, time will tell.

This is just a small portion of my portfolio to have fun with and satisfy my casino tendencies!...

Cebo, Coinsillium has been going 10 years and have good experience in the crypto sector with various investments, these are detailed on their website, some might say experience is their USP as proceeds from their other investments will go towards buying more Bitcoin, they are also buying Bitcoin at regular intervals with good communication and appear to have a clear strategy.

Well the price of Bitcoin is looking a bit more attractive now so hopefully some Bitcoin purchases going through.
