To answer your question, Zoo is on my watch list and I am trying to distil the facts from all the hype. I have no ulterior motive. I have been around far too long to believe comments on these boards influence the price, particularly when the bulk of the stock is held by a very few institutions. They will move the price. Look, no one saw the last placing coming and all /most were shocked it was done at 9p. The price at which the investors felt risk/reward was acceptable. And accepted by the company as they had no better options to raise cash to expand. I question whether so much has changed in a short time but I do believe the company will need cash to expand and probably see the recent dramatic sp rise as an.opportunity. I would in their position. Finally this is a bulletin board to share opinions, not just for unbridled optimism.
I smell a placing, known to some already at a guess. What price? 30p? 35p? Not sure they could get it done at 40p....
The Sabbath as you call it, in Saudi, is surely every Friday. It was when I worked there.... And unless they have all converted from Islam to Judaism I guess it still is
Not sure about that. A drop of 18% suggests a falling knife to me - in the absence of a preclose bounce. It has risen far and fast on a promise but little tangible underneath it and the results, I for one, found underwhelming
I agree. I don't think the market understands Uanc. analysts try to apply the same metrics used for other builders and it underplays Uanc unique wholesale value adding approach. Maybe with a couple more days for them to analyze Uanc properly, the sp will advance. They are building a very strong reputation with planners and developers to very good effect, and significantly shortening timescales from large site application to development starts.
Rns confirming additional purchase of already planned Portuguese electronic arm, and more importantly, confirmed on track for results as forecast GroupWide. I think market had priced in a profit warning unnecessarily. Look forward to next rns 13/12
No. Can't find any news. Sales volumes not high, but someone clearly knows something??
I agree, except on take over. Chairman Philip Meeson owns so much stock a takeover is unlikely without his blessing. He can see where DTG is heading and I think will be looking at an SP way north of £10 before hanging up his boots.
Shares up almost 10% on very solid buying. Early benefit from stansted expansion, new fleet etc, with much more to come.
3 month chart looks like a slippery slope oblivion. Normally, absent any positive news, would drift gently sideways to down, but this looks like persistent selling
Hambro upped their stake-now over 6% & 8m+ shares. Good to see. I assume investing rather than stake building but who knows?
Your 60p even more of a pipedream. Unless the chairman and BoD is changed do not expect a positive outcome.
Rns today detailing a significant land/housing acquisition, funded by Govt HCA. South Midlands based where prices rises are outpacing many other areas. Well worth reading. Surprised sp hasnt moved but early doors and uanc below the radar for many. I have taken the opportunity to add more as I expect it to get boosted next month by results due, and UK autumn budget, which is rumoured to be favourable to 1st time buyers. May get a further boost early this week if Simon Thompsin at Investors Chronicvle writes up this new deal. DYOR
Still climbing steadily. Nice pattern.
is now a non exec at Urban & Civic, since August. Hisonly non exec job I believe. Interesting that UANC are complementary to TEF, in the sesnse of their South Midlands locations. Maybe a merger of the two would make good business senses... DYOR
And today 2 x 200k share buys. Not sure if buying again or just an institution spotting the value here
Great to see that sfe are buying in their undervalued shares. 90000 in each of the last 2 days. Nice rise in share price. Pleased I doubled down at 165p when they got an undeserved kicking a few weeks back
Down about 25% in 4-weeks and even at this low level, persistent sales. Seems like someone(s) knows of and news we are not yet privy too...
Positive analysis from Simon Thompson just released, with buy recommendation as he judges it too cheap. Also quotes house broker nav forecast of 107p per share by June 2018. Almost double current sp. This should give a rise tomorrow
