I agree. Took the plunge today after watching 888 for a while. There have been some pretty chunky purchases this week. I like the sector and think we may see some consolidation. Maybe 888 will get taken out...
Looking cheaper now. I think USA will be a slow burn as each state has to pass it's own legislation and even then only allowed intra not inter state. India looks a more exciting prospect to me
The fall in share price a week in advance of the profit warning is highly suspicious. Quite clearly the unusual price moves is indicative that some sellers had inside knowledge. Should be investigated by fca but will it be? Unlikely. And so it goes on...
Anyone else watching this?? In recent weeks the price has zipped up and down like a madman in an elevator. No significant volume variance and no news. MMs playing games? Why? Just for fun? Not enough volume to make money.
But why would they? I think they have healthy land banks and can probably add to them at reasonable prices in this market. Having more to build out right now may just add to their labour shortage.
Or am I missing something.....
..well received this morning. Small provision increase for shoddy work but an apparently honest update on progress and plans, without over egging the pudding. Good report from newish CEO.
Some very chunky buys today. Several around £600k. Presumably funds/institutions.
Good enough for me. I should have bought yesterday but was hoping to Nick some on a dip.
Didn't happen! So bought 2 tranches just now
Seems odd that Dixon would keep offloading at such low sp?
Haven't checked it out but I read some investors are worried about levels of debt in INL. Any thoughts?
What's going on? Can't find any news but chunky sales going through and big drop in sp. Surely not contagion from Provident Financial debacle?
Anyone spot anything adverse?
You are right. It is surprising just how conservatively the BoD has valued the land assets. It surely sets them up for a predator to unlock that value. A buyer could pay a significant premium to current sp and still come out way ahead financially
Surprised at high volume of sales at such a low sp. Maybe bad news in the offing,? Wish I felt confident to average down. Again. But is it a falling knife?
I have just bought back in. Think this looks really cheap now. Well managed business, in a sector that I believe will grow. Well positioned to take market share from competitors. The drop looks really overcooked
