And now the same buyer had added a further 500k. summuts up! no movement in SP though. weird.
Amazing to see this drop again today and by so much. Well managed company with NAV way above sp and the possibility of a take out if it drops much further, Not sure why folks would be scared to average down and I dont tthink Trump is a factor here. Many competitors up today on the Evergrande/Cala news so dont get why this dropped.
Or may be a very significant yet to be announced contract win?
Nope. Dunno but its more interesting buying on his own account than for a fund he manages isnt it? now owns 2.5 million quids worth. That's a stack unless he is a stalking horse for someone who wants to be invisible... And yet the sp doesnt move. All very odd. Maybe the prelude to a bid? any other thoughts??
Placing in the offing maybe??
My guess is a placinmg doing the rounds right now. If the price is right I will average down.
Any thoughts on consolidation in the sector? If many are on the backfoot as suggested, there must be a benefit in having greater muscle to deal with manufacturers, plus economies of scale etc. Although pension deficits will scare off many- even though recent market performance may be helping there too. Otherwise there seems to be few reason s to buy PDG now even though they are buying their own shares
.... by Money Observer today with Target price of 470p. Worth holding on in my view
Tipped today as a buy in IC, reiterating their earlier tip in mid july. Reinforces my view that TPT is a safe bet
Very interesting report just published from Hardman & co about redx progress with cancer inhibitors. Expecting clinical trials in early 2017 following success to date.
I agree. Likely to get snapped up while £/$ is where it is. Globally new antibiotics are absolutely vital so even if a competitor comes up with something, redx are still in the game. Looks a no brainer to me but may need a little patience...
Not seen this board before or watched PDG but keep seeing them in the list of compamies buying back their own shares. (So future profits shared by a smaller number of holders of course.) And yet the SP just drifts down?? P/E less than 6. Are they just off the radar or unloved for some reason? Maybe just another that drifts in the absence of news/results...Any thoughts from better informed holders welcome please!
Today's drop looks like the usual market overreaction to good but not stellar results. Great buying opportuntyi in my view so I have tucked some away again. Looks like low downside and steady upside to me. but DYOR
Looks as though some institutions have been banking some profit. Either opportunistic or they feel it is high enough for now...
Unfortunately andrew leaver and co. Selling into any strength and still got 5 mil to unload. A real drag on sp for a while more.
Yes. I do. I held them before and sold out when they looked a bit high. I am watching and waiting and plan to buy back. I dont think they are very exciting and may drift between trading announcements as they are of radar but I think they are on a growth trajectory and very well managed. Less volatile than builders shares.
Good question. That could have persuaded some funds to sell. But now the price is coming back up. Good because I bough a load atb 65.7p!
Was gonna buy but 3.5% spread?! Daylight robbery, Dont want to pay fo the MM's new Porsche.
Lots of sales at around 65p today?? So INL falling more than the sector. I wponder why? Looks cheap to me
I agree with goldust on this one. I usually lean towards banking profit but I am absolutely convinced that there is way more upside than downside. And i need some shares with low risk like this to balance out others! The BoD doesnt do much to manage sp between statements so they can drift a little then spark up again on results. Clearly something was known as they shot up 6% yesterday ahead of results. Disgrace but dont expect fca to do much. Somebody made a few good trades in and out in 48 hours. Insiders dead? Hmm
