Thanks Ninetails, yes, now would seem to be good timing but I rarely get this spot on, and where I have it's been more by luck than judgement! Regards UKOG however I am fully familiar with the story so far and feel this should be an exciting period to be in. Going back to the 'herd' slightly derogatory yes but good profit can still be made from following the momentum and sentiment on a rising share. Agree that it can bring out the worst though and inexperienced investors can get caught out on spikes. Hoping for a significant and sustained rise here to be honest but we'll see.

If I may assist, I believe this is a fairly common analogy on these boards that implies every man and his dog will soon want a piece of this stock! The herd will arrive suddenly, in their droves in a stampede to feast upon the riches that UKOG will offer. It also implies that the herd are not particularly well informed and therefore may simply follow one another from pasture to pasture and are easy prey for those predators that wish to take advantage of them. The smarter creatures are by definition already invested ahead of the herds arrival! I bought in today so not sure what that makes me, I'm not the smartest so perhaps one of the first in the herd to arrive, grazing peacefully for now. Anyway, hope this helps despite being utter BS! Never seen this before but presumably this is the character that some have been referring to as having an influence! Diabolical from the off, and rapidly became unwatchable. I hope people trust in their own research and the words and updates of the company, rather than these charlatans talking around their own short term positions. It's certainly been riding the wave in the 20s whilst we await further news of progress. Trending back up again and seemingly sensitive to tweets, LinkedIn, interviews, games releases so not just sitting around for RNS. I always wanted to be here for Q4 when the company executes on its plans. Good luck to them and those invested.

Nothing been given away on Heron either other than on schedule and resulting in additional and ongoing expenditure. Was hoping for some early interpretation of results but this has been the MO for all recent RNS', matter of fact, take it or leave it.

The RNS of 26/9 highlights the bigger picture here but if by 'short term' you mean will there be an opportunity to sell out on news in next couple of days, maybe? But you need to own some shares in the first place and may miss out on the real rises during this transformational period. GL, whatever you decide to do.

You can only go on what is said by RNS and react accordingly. Key word today - shortly! PS - how many times do we read similar conversations on AIM boards about project timelines and how many times do we experience some slippage in our own working lives! If everything ran like clockwork we'd all be millionaires Rodders!

Absolutely JS490! If the president intends to roll out the full finance package early next week as part of some visionary fanfare described in the article you highlight then I can't see Vast stealing his thunder! Not long now for confirmation and with it financing sign-off.

That's the point of the RNS! To remove that uncertainty by stating as far as they can do that they are working to complete it asap. Meanwhile the approval will likely be first and the shares are rising in anticipation.

Not entirely sure what you mean there m0neyman but I'd be surprised if the most significant announcement since the company joined AIM doesn't have a positive effect come Monday! I think the prospect of mediocre results has been played all week. Of course I could also be wrong but this feels like a turbo-boost into Q4 that will outpace any drag from results. After the contract extension earlier in the week I expect the results to be decent, they wouldn't be getting renewals if the concept doesn't generate income! Anyway, let's see. Glad to be holding!

If you believe in the longer term potential of the Bidstack vision then these temporary influences, manipulations, are an opportunity to acquire more! I can't help feeling that the bullish commentary from the CEO and today's extension mark just the start of a bull run for this share in Q4! Monday's results and forward looking statement will be very interesting. Only that will determine what I do next with regards BIDS shares.

Yes, and given the extension is based on the existing 'success' of the 2018/19 games this bodes well IMO.

Checked this for a larf and I'm in at 375!! Amused on the one hand as I rarely post and disappointed on the other that this in no way reflects the excitement I have for this company and the positive expectations for growth. Hopefully this bumps me up the charts a little. Of course, in the real world I am not a 'ramper', these are my own opinions and I collude with nobody, I am merely an enthusiastic holder of shares in this growing UK oil producer!

Personally, that's why I bought back in here because UKOG has jam today (production, planning and increased ownership) and jam tomorrow potential from the imminent drilling campaign and full production plans, temper that with the dilutive funding arrangements which act as a brake until churned but I still see major growth potential near term. Don't get me wrong, if the SP spiked like it did in the past, of course I would bank the profit but I see this as a growth story now. Here's hoping a home grown company can reach full potential!

A small amount of patience may be required here but I expect the dilution to be worked through and positive results to build the share price. It might mean that the share doesn't experience meteoric peaks (and troughs) of old as larger deals churn through but it should yield a long term rising trend if results are good. And IMO I'm not talking years here (again based on what I read in the RNS), but weeks and months, just maybe not tomorrow, then again....!
