Looking at the final trades of yesterday I'd have thought that around 15 5p would be a more accurate close price. Shows how antiquated some systems are I guess as they use the last trade price without any reasonableness check.

SpicyTuna, fair point re extra director costs. However, one would hope that their addition to ITM would profitably increase the contracts and sales that ITM get as the BoD are unlikely hiring them simply to make the teas and coffees !!

Same shake over on ITM which dropped fast just after 1pm with no obvious explanation. Maybe some news released or a fund reducing exposure ti hydrogen companies ? Any ideas ? I'm longterm in both anyway !!

Bought this at same time as ITM and Yes, wish I'd put all into ITM, however I always try to spread risk. Essentra has held off its recovery whilst Trump's tariffs were more of a threat, but now not as much so Essentra starting to recover nicely. Can see it getting back to 150p in next couple of months.

Bought in at avg 376p yesterday over 3 trades, find it hard to believe it ended at 341.60p !! Held Darktrace for a few years so have the IT t-shirt, but the drop yesterday was absurd and bulk of those selling sold at a loss excluding the shorter scum !!

Timgaunt, Aren't much better results forecast for the 2nd half 2025/26 ? I'm sure many businesses are deferring larger IT expenditure given the economic uncertainty and thus adversely affecting many suppliers. The sp is now very close to its 5 year low excluding the Covid period.

Meoryou, Zero-based budgeting approach needed by BP where all expenditure above certain levels (start high and move down) have to be justified, eg why do we employ x numbers of staff on a specific project, can it be done with less, can it be done a different way, etc . ? Such a Review is urgent throughout BP, it's not Rocket Science at least to this forum's members. Of course, most of the BoD may be axed and thus their reluctance re a detailed Review ?!!
