Down over 2% today, nothing obvious to explain it. Could it be the still declining UK Earnings data released today increasing the risk of bad debts for SSE ? If anything, UK consumers will cut back on discretionary spend, even holidays, in order to pay their elec bills. Maybe the lower growing employee earnings is speculation that businesses not doing so well and thus reducing demand for elec ? Any thoughts from other investors on here or are there any SSE investors on here at all at all ?!!

Similar to you guys, I'm watching BATS share price rise and wondering should I hold on or sell !! I believe it does have more to rise even though its div % is reducing because a number of larger analysts have targets well above the current sp and interest rates are falling thus increasing the attraction of BATS div yield albeit falling. I sold some of my RR. and all my BA. too early, albeit with good gains, and hope I've learnt my lesson !!

I always thought a purchaser was responsible for their purchase whatever commission or interest rate or other cost is non-transparent. A purchaser should know what they're buying, know how much it costs and know of any future costs which should be stated in any contract or terms. Are supermarkets now going to have to reveal how much they pay for the goods they buy from their suppliers ?!!

Well up bilboburgler. I understand that investors like to take some profits where warranted, but taking them on ITM now seems financially irresponsible. It's a pity Mr Market isn't transparent enough to establish who the major sellers are driving the price down today, of course it would also reveal if the market makers are acting dishonestly !! Alliance News are saying that today's drop is due to LBBW dropping their Rating from Buy to Hold, but they are just a mid-sized German bank so probably caused by some collective profit taking after recent large rises.
