Mara is on 36.9 EH - some days they mine more, sometimes less - but this EH figure that they state looks right to me - the 60EH figures are just Mara enthusiasts celebrating a higher than average day - they never mention the 3 block days. CLSK is roughly on a similar valuation level if you take away the hodl difference and hash difference, although I'd say CLSK is at a 10 to 20% discount to MARA mcap wise all things included and I think they should out-perform slightly from here - and I'd say many of the other miners are in the same boat - roughly fair value by peer comparison. So I don't think it matters so much which one you're in, but when BTC properly breaks out the ones with the highest volume and short interest should run hardest. It's coming soon I'm sure of it.

Well they'll likely announce another ATM or something soon as they've had the authorised share count increase - will need to check what date this becomes effective.

They are very generous to themselves, although most the miner execs are the same - no way should their bonuses be as high as they are.

Yeah I rotated a fair amount out of clsk when it was 20 or whatever into other better value miners. Did the same with a couple of others. Would have done a lot better if I went to cash, but I get fomo and felt the need to be in - will pay off one day I hope! The reality is that even the better efficient/low cost miners are at best cash flow positive, but not massively. When BTC runs the margins go up and they look attractive and they'll run again. Agree that we need a breakout before that happens.

Dags yes WULF 3x'd, so was therefore a good investment no matter the why's - but that doesn't mean it's a good hold now. You'll notice the miners can run up hard, and then throw away those gains just as easily. So get in low and get out high and onto the next.

CORZ has better fundamental reasons for their run so would be an easier hold.

He's a bit of a madman and often says one thing but does another. Eg. not going to dilute, going to pay off the loan with cash sweep over time - then scrap that without telling anyone and dilute and pay off the loan. It was annoying as I held at one point and sold mostly because of this guidance then he did the opposite and it ran. Spectacular run to where they are now, but no fundamental support for the mcap. Crazy game this.

Take a look at CIFR - I think they'll perform well for a bit.

*92 mil for the sale of the JV % not 1.8bil!! I believe the other 75% of Nautilus was sold to AWS, so Talen will probably sell it on to them for a markup. I don't get it, and I don't understand why their share price went up so much.

K - Wulf fans have been going on about their nuclear power and how it's great - but now they don't have it anymore. The ultra low cost of 2 cents is gone. Sold for 92 mil while their mcap is 1.8bil. 1.8bil for It's good ROI on the original investment, but I can't help but feel they are very over-valued. Now they are HPC experts - but any track record here? Lake Mariner land is owned by Beowulf as far as I know so more kick backs for Prager. Not one for me and I see it lagging vs other options from here.

Yeah crunch time, less than 10% mining margin - that does not take into account G&A, so losing money each month. To their credit at least they are communicating these things and not hiding them. To me I do not see any reason why Galaxy would extend the agreement, it would be bad business and they have a duty to their shareholders. Will be a hard pill to swallow if they sell Helios to an HPC/AI bidder for vastly more than they paid.

I still think the bull run is about to happen very soon, so they'll get their chance to raise again, but it's prolonging the inevitable.

Risky to short anything just now - think the run is finally coming. Rate cut, M2 supply increasing, China stimulus, SPX and Gold at ATH, DXY dropping, crypto stances changing politically, IBIT options and IBIT 12 hour settlement change, I feel we'll be getting a good Uptober. End game coming soon.

In an alternative world, Argo held on to Helios and are now looking at lucrative HPC deals.

However in this world, they have modified machines that they can only really sell to Galaxy, debt to pay, and a hosting agreement coming to an end shortly. Definitely overvalued just now, however will be interesting to see what moves they make in the next couple of months (other than more dilution which is near guaranteed).

Jambone have you ever considered the chance that QBT might be the issue and not the posters? Hexam and 0134 are certainly not in any boiler room schemes. If anything they are trying to help you but you're stuck on a vision/dream and not seeing things for how they are.

Here's some questions to ask yourself:

What was QBT called before becoming QBT?

What happened to their existing bitcoin mining business?

How much revenue have they made in the last 3 years?

What percentage has mining efficiency improved in the last 3 years vs QBT's improvement claims (clue: mining machines were 30JT in 2021 and are now 13.5 JT)?

Why have they taken 3 years to live test this?

How many raises have they done in the last 3 years?

How much have they raised in that time and what's their current market cap?

How much has the CEO been paid/bonused in this time period?

Why have they not made any deals with miners/manufacturers if their tech is promising?

Does everything the CEO says make sense, or does he fill the gaps with technical jargon?

You'd struggle to find something about ARB that hasn't already been said. They are on the road to bankruptcy and in the same boat as QBT - might get saved by a bull run, or might not.

I've got a high risk tolerance - I'm even holding some NPC (a memecoin), but QBT is outside my risk tolerance. Just seems a scam company - their releases generally don't make sense - trying to baffle you with tech buzzwords. Just wait until they start talking about HPC (if they haven't already).

Jambone - I have no position in QBT. A company with no revenue, and dubious claims that just don't make sense. If they have this technology, they should be mining - on the live BTC network and not some test network. The only investment case I can think of for them is a general bull run where people go mad for anything crypto and fall for their method A-Z's bs. It really seems a waste of your time and money to me - but best of luck and I hope it somehow works out for you.

Jambone - if there was any promise in QBT's R&D they would have been bought out by now do you not think? Their mcap is tiny vs the bigger players, so would be an easy buy and a game changer for the bigger miners. So it suggests that the bigger miners do not believe QBT's claims.

Yep time based capitulation at it's finest. It's hard to keep the faith with this price action. But I still think 100ish is coming.
