Good to know on BTBT - I'm sure a number of the western mining execs should also be jailed but instead they get hefty bonuses. Quite like the name Golden Bull actually. The new CEO is proving popular just now so I don't think this will impact any more than it has to date. But once I get targets I'll rotate - into what I don't know.

CIFR has been suppressed by Bitfury selling. It appears that the current batch of sales may be near an end (Note 3) which would support a run up soon. I'm thinking a run to $6.

Not seen margins on Soluna HPC. They're unique in the space as they do stranded energy - which means it isn't 24/7 power - but they get for a good electricity price - 2.9 cents last update. I would expect 75%ish but margin who knows. Meant to go live in July so hopefully a news release soon.

I'm not holding CLSK just now, but think them and Mara will move roughly in step.

Various miners due short squeezes also. Exciting times, as long as bitcoin starts moving.

I still feel we are currently lifting off away from fundamentals, but it is important that all the miners make the right noises in their monthly reports to support this - however tenuous.

Jimmy SMLR - 828 bitcoin is about 25% of their mcap. Their share price was going nowhere so they've done this for attention. However looking at their Q1, it actually seems the business is profitable so maybe this is more than a gimmick. They are profit making and don't have debt. Will be interesting to see what they do. It's not for me but seems fine from an investment standpoint. Expect some sort of MSTR style offering from them soon.

You're right. The recent annual report also states 3 years. Who knows.....

In the last update BTBT had 1,038.4 BTC and 20,508.3 ETH. The AI announcement is targeting 92 mil a year revenue, and peers are suggesting 75 to 80% margin on AI/HPC - although BTBT''s Q1's showed 61% margin as Jimmy says.

Seems the new CEO is the acceptable face of the company and seems quite popular. As we know the miners are all dodgy to some degree so it comes with the territory - I'm holding multiple miners for this reason as you never know if one will reveal something and tank. Soluna I need to double check the mcap as some sites say 23 mil, but google says 44 mil. There's some preference shares and I suspect some sites count them and others don't.

It's one of my higher risk/return plays. I didn't get the lows but an still up nicely. Hoping for a run to $12 in the near future at which point I'd sell half my holdings and leave the rest for the bull run.

Figures imply a ~16% interest rate, but clearly higher interest rates are more manageable on a smaller loan - although Argo will certainly be struggling with current conditions. The end date is interesting - wonder what date exactly the hosting agreement comes up. Wonder if Galaxy will try and pivot to AI or sell the site.... BTC I think is going to run up this month, I can feel it.

Good to know. Yes, they don't really own infrastructure but are fairly popular and look fundamentally good.

There's a company called ebang with a ton of cash and much lower mcap, but it's China based and seems dodgy so I won't touch.

Slnh Soluna holdings has picked up an AI contract and seems to be getting noticed, think it will at least double from here. Got a decent amount.

They are following the Argo playbook it seems (ZEC anyone?).

Thanks Jimmy that's interesting about the $4bil valuation for the HPC business. They'll be debt free then as well and have the existing mining business on top - unless they are closing some of that. I don't really keep up with them but it seems there's room for 50% or so upwards movement, although the real gains have been had already with this one I think.

Yes much needed for the sector and hopefully lasts for the remainder of the year. Didn't see it coming but it bumped up my portfolio nicely.

Corz mcap around 4bil if you take full warrant conversions into account. I don't know what their mcap should be - are they still undervalued?

Interesting thoughts on WULF Jimmy, the price has run quite hard to a level that's above what I would call fair value - but they did have a lot of shorts that need liquidating also so maybe that was the reason.

BTBT yes I'm targeting $5-$6 short term target. If it happens in the next couple of weeks I might rotate.

CLSK and MARA (and RIOT) have been doing nothing, although holding value against bitcoin drops has been good. When it turns up again these are due a run.

Hold a good amount of BTBT so it's a lovely day for me. Agree this has been due a run for a long time now.

DS - BCH seems to be bleeding even worse than BTC. How many times can they repeat the same Mt Gox FUD though? It's like 2021 when China banned BTC about 15 times.

ArfurBat - thanks for sharing and most of us have the "what was I thinking" stories. A solid reminder that getting the right entry is one half of the equation but getting out at an appropriate time is equally if not moreso important. Let's hope we've all learned these lessons and come out on top with current/future investments.

Redrag, yes a real shame. Had high hopes for Helios, and we've seen galaxy make a success of it, so the dream was real, and we could be looking at a bil mcap again, but not to be due to bad decisions from PW and co, mixed with some bad luck and bad timing. Best of luck with your new investments.

Agreed - so you have to make up your own mind on what it will do, either agreeing with or dismissing the social media gurus. I do think 100k is entirely possible. Basically a 50% run from here. Wizz's prediction fits well for me, it's not too ambitious, and makes sense for me with 100k being a central focal point for price. Given how much demand has come through via the ETF's, and how stuck the price is the last couple of months I can't imagine enough demand to get to the 250k predictions. So my plan is to get out around 100k. If it doesn't get hit then I guess that's just hard luck. If it does get hit I get out and might watch a super run from the sidelines, but ultimately you have to get out somewhere otherwise you get stuck for the next 4 years.

For sure. The next peak there'll be a new Plan B and a consensus number much larger. I've found Wizz on X is fairly good at predictions but he also gets it wrong sometimes. He's giving a cycle top of 110-120 and that seems reasonable and achievable to me.

Probably a good thing. Remember when it was 15k and everyone thought it was going to 12k? Market often does the opposite to what the majority expect.
