A lot of what Wegian is saying is sort of right. I expect Argo to run if/when BTC breaks out and runs to 100. 40p is possible for sure. I'd argue the NASDAQ miners are much better options though. Argo is already overvalued at current mcap so in theory it has less room to run - also still at high risk of bankruptcy. However it is the only UK listed miner, so it has that going for it, and it might be the nasdaq listing helps. Interesting times.

Blockwars are over and market has chosen the current version of Bitcoin as the winner. No one is forced on to any network, and you'll have a hard time convincing people to move over to another chain based on block sizes.

Incentives are part of the original whitepaper so I don't see why a layer 2 would not have incentives - compute is not free.

Argo is more likely than not to be bankrupt/delisted Wegian than last another cycle. Have you done any research into the company or just looked at the price and chatgpt?

I think there's uncertainty on Trump's win and see a >50% chance of dems getting through. Extremely close though and I couldn't call it. X and Crypto world is heavily pro Trump so there's strong bias there - you'd think the win was done, but the polls are showing a small lead to Dems. Polymarket has been accused of wash trading to inflate figures so cannot be relied on.

Now if Trump does get in, then I think it would give an initial boost to BTC and miners. If Dems get in it's harder to say - hopefully it still goes up.

It may have started as an ecash system but the world has chosen to use it as a hard asset/store of value/speculative financial product.

You can still buy stuff with it if you really feel the need to, or can use some of the Layer 2's.

If we stuck to 1 man's vision it would kind of be centralised.

HC we didn't just see ATH, it nearly got there but didn't quite. Hopefully after this retrace we properly break out. Big couple of weeks coming up and I hope to see BTC at 80k before end of Nov - which would hopefully translate to miners going up (even Argo).

Thanks SK - Yeah I'm looking to close out of CLSK at 40 so your upper target looks good to me. Suspect QBT will be at least £1 by then but that's fine there's room to run still. Always good to get a second opinion.

Hopefully we get a new BTC ATH next week if not before.

Seems the best time to buy and sell was 1st Feb to 19th Feb 2021, with large volume spikes as the price got to the highs that you could easily sell into.

The miners roughly 2x'd during this period (after 10x'ing from their lows), while KR1 4x'd.

Interestingly Mara peaked a week or so before the BTC peaks.

So alt season must have started after the initial break out of BTC, but before the first peak. Eg. BTC ran to 40k but then pulled back to 32k at the start of Feb 2021.

So my guess would be around BTC at 80-85 would be a good time for me to rotate out of some miners and into here.

Yeah in them and a couple of others. You're right, HPC/AI has become a secondary (primary in some cases) focus. It is electricity demands that are the constraint for AI, and miners have a lot of MW's available, so this has become a good support for the industry.

I think miners like CLSK are due to 3x soon - if BTC breaks out and runs towards 100. At the moment mining is breakeven at best, so they need a BTC move to make them look profitable again and for sentiment to come back.

So I hope to get this run and then rotate some into KR1 which would likely run after the miners, as altseason normally follows the BTC run. That's the plan anyway - will see what happens.

I've bought a few over the last few weeks - I'm mostly in bitcoin miners but assuming they run hard if/when BTC breaks upwards to 80+ I'll rotate a bit more in here - feels an easy 3 to 4x when altseason kicks off. Timing is key though so will see how it plays out.

Let's hope so, another pullback at this point would be very annoying. Fingers crossed.

Slnh has a growing business and improving fundamentals, Argo is near to finding out if galaxy will extend the hosting or not. Slnh for me by a long shot.
